LOVE THIS BLENDER!!
This is my 2nd Oster blender. The first one (had it 5 yrs.) works just great. I bought this one for my husband's house so I can make my smoothies there too. It's a sturdy blender made with glass - so no microplastics coming into contact with food. What I love about it:I like the one I bought 5 yrs ago, and I like this one even better...Oster is a reliable brand that performs well over time. This model IS quieter than prior models, like the customer reviews say. Many setting options is great.Notes on use:> I hardly ever use the high settings. From my perspective, blending a smoothie a little longer, at a lower speed, is gentler on the blades and less noisy than the higher speeds. Perhaps the fact I use it gingerly is why it performs so well over time. So take care of your blender.> I clean it with a brush in the sink. Once in awhile I take it apart and wash the parts individually, but in my opinion, it doesn't need that kind of deeper cleaning that often.> Another tip: A friend showed me how he cleans his blender and it's brilliant - he puts hot water in with some dishsoap and blends it! Then rinse & air dry. This is probably the very best way to clean it. But if your chia seeds are stuck in there, use a sink sponge or brush.I will never understand why people spend so much on expensive fancy blenders when Oster makes very good products that do the job just fine at a reasonable price point.

Efficient and quick
This blender is great! I’ve not had an Oster in years, and am very pleased with this one. Lots of different settings, works fast and thoroughly, and was a a very good price. Sturdy and dishwasher safe.

I recommend the blender to everyone because it meets all expectations.
Very happy with the arrival of my blender, I recommend because she has a good blade that crushes things very quickly . of different speeds and what I like most is that she liquefies very fast and shreds the ice to make the frapes the glass is thick glass resistant to everything

Great value, works great, but is very loud compared to my older model Oster blender
I love Oster products and purchased this one to replace a similar model that is very old but still limping along. This product works well, but it is very loud and actually hurts my ears. It is a great value if you are not noise sensitive. Going to keep using my old, black Oster until it dies and then read more reviews on noise level before purchasing another. Had to return because I'm not going to use it.

It crushes ice!
I love my Ninja, but I wanted to replace it with a blender that has a glass container. I tried a Hamilton Beach, but it did not crush ice. The Oster arrived today and I am thrilled that it does, indeed, crush ice! I am so excited! 7 ice cubes crushed, some powdered milk, instant coffee, cocoa powder, water and sweetener and I had my mocha frappe! The Hamilton Beach is going back today and the Ninja is retired after years of service.

I haven't used it yet but after testing it appears to work as specified.
