AppleiPhone 12 mini (128GB, (Product) RED) [Locked] + Carrier SubscriptionEPEAT

I have small hands so this is perfect. The green color is gorgeous.

I’ve only had the iPhone 12 mini for 4 months and it already has malfunctions happening. I even tried to follow the steps that was given to me by apple support but the same thing still happens… every time I try to open an app it would automatically crash… then when I try to restart the phone it would start flickering and swiping to different apps that I didn’t open. And this happens every couple of hours. Will not be buying from here again.

I bought this phone for 2 main reasons, wireless charging and back tap. Both of these features don't work properly. The wireless charging only worked for about a month, then it stopped working. Apple supposedly has had a fix in the works since December. It still doesn't work. The back tap option also doesn't work reliably. You have to hit it very hard for it to work which isn't a good solution as this could end up breaking the phone over time. I've owned many iPad's over the years and have really enjoyed them. This was my first iPhone. It's also my last.

Only complaint is that Apple literally doesn’t give your the charging brick and give you a different type of charger. They did that so you give them more money they used to always give you a charger and a brick and now it’s only the charger :/

Wifi is bad and I can barely connect or get Wi-Fi

Very disappointed in the iPhone 12. Been using iPhones for 5 years now. I got the 12 two months ago. I have to say, there’s nothing about this phone other than the size that I am very happy with. Performance is ok; camera ok; phone calls are ok. For the price, nothing stands out. Would not recommend.

I moved from an iPhone 11 Pro to this because I miss the small iPhones of the past. I had read that the battery life was significantly less on the iPhone 12 mini, but also read reports that disabling 5G improve that a fair bit. This was not my experience. Even with 5G disabled the battery life is unacceptable. I am not a heavy smart phone user. My iPhone 11 Pro was rarely below 50% battery when going to bed. This 12 mini struggles to make it through the day without being charged. So in my experience the battery life is at least 40% less than an iPhone 11 Pro. For me the rest of the review doesn’t matter. The battery life ruins it completely. The size, build quality, and camera are excellent; if they can make a 13 mini with real battery life I’ll buy it in a heartbeat.
