I am 30 years old currently playing in an outdoor league. I have been rolling my ankle since high school and have not found a brace that can provide stability while still being mobile. I have tried every over the counter ankle brace you can find. My last roll was one week prior to ordering this. I played in a game yesterday and felt stable the entire time.

These are worth every penny. My 12 year old son is notorious for rolling his ankles and literally did SO often(basketball, football, even baseball)before these braces. He wears them for every sport(on both annkles) and they’ve saved him countless times. You won’t regret this purchase. A bit confusing to put on at first but once you get the hang of it they’re great. He is about 5 feet tall and wears size 6.5 shoe and got size small and size S fit him perfectly. Not too bulky compared to others that offer this type of support.

The VA issued me a walking cast (big name brand) it developed a scraping on the back of my leg just above my Achilles tendon, didn't really realize how bad it was until I showered that night for the first after getting the cast off. Resulted in an open weeping sore, akin to a pressure blister type of thing, that made it nearly impossible to use the walking boot.So, I am trying this after reading the reviews, and hoping it will be the answer for my final transition to healing, and maybe some questionable more strenuous activity.Follow up after receiving and discovering my shin/calf/ankle is just big and I should have gotten the next size up (Large instead of Medium once again), but no Worries here, as of course I could do a modification in the upper / lower neoprene outer material, to make the hook to loop area work as needed.After walking/ a block or so, and standing talking to folks for awhile, and than driving to a few places and shopped, I returned to my Custom Sewing shop and sat for about an hour or so at my sewing machine working on client projects.The brace remained comfortable, and feels well braced and lateral movement is indeed controlled, my ankle did not turn sideways in such a manner that I could have damaged tender skin, or would cause concern of my recent Achilles Tendon surgery I am recovering from. When I rose to stand or began walking, my footing and gate seems improved, as is crouching or stooping, to pick something up off the floorI like the way this brace works and would have preferred this over the walking boot I was given to wear post surgery.Compression is good, comfortable, and I can recommend this product with confidence to anyone who suffers from weak ankles, or has had Ankle surgery, or is recovering form sprains and such; or just getting ready to go out and do something you may find hard on your ankles. This can be worn with a hiking boot or hi-tops.Note: Make sure you get the "right size", and take into consideration the size of your calf and ankle while maybe partially swollen. As I often say, you most often make something shorter, but harder to do once made to a final design.

Coming from a basketball injury i started researching ankle braces so i could play again. I had two concerns, one was the price and two how well would this fit in my shoe. Well im glad to report I’ve been back playing for a few weeks now, the brace fits nicely in my shoes. I’ve worn KD16s and Sabrina 2s so far. It took me some practicing to learn how to put it on properly but would definitely reccomend this brace.

This product is garbage, if you are looking for something to prevent twisting your ankle, don't buy it! It only applies pressure, the same as wrapping a bandage around your leg. The price is extremely high for how useless it is. Even the side bars are made of soft plastic and are useless! I am returning this product today!

rolled my ankle during basketball really bad (severe bruising, swelling, need crutches), and had to run a half marathon 4 months afterwardsused the brace to help recovery processeventually began to slowly ease into running again with the help of the braceankle wasn't fully healed come half marathon, but with the brace it was pretty much 100% for running purposesgot through the training and half marathon with no pain while wearing the bracestill in great condition
