Great kit!
Great professional wood burning kit weather you are a beginner or a professional. The wand switch has a pretty cool feature of a center setting that turns both wands off without shutting the main power off, if you need to change both wire tips out. The temp dial is a bit touchy but the machine gets pretty hot of over 800 degrees, and the wands stay pretty cool as your working on your project. This kit came with about 24 different tips, tweezers if your tips are hot, and a screwdriver to change your tips. They even also threw in a couple of practice wood slices and a small gourd. Overall, it's a great kit, and definitely recommended to all woodburners beginning or experienced.

Definitely worth it. I love my burner 👍🏽
I love my wood burner! I’m new at using a burner and I found it super easy to create. The set up was exactly what I needed. The temperature control was nice because I could change it while using it and the actual burner fit in my hand nicely. I also really like that there are two burners so you can just go back and forth without stopping to cool. The cooling process was fast but it’s still nice to just go right to the other one and continue. I’m very grateful that this burner is affordable and gave be a sturdy tool to create with. I would say it is worth trying if you are interested in wood burning. I’m definitely happy with it.

Good burner, especially for beginners
This wood burner is pretty good for beginners! I used it for a few projects before writing this review, just to see how it all worked. I like that the control box shows the temperature. I'm a visual person, so being able to see a number and feel the heat differences helps me to know how hot I'm burning and what temps I need for this or that. I did notice that the dial can be a little finicky if you're trying to get to a specific number temperature. I don't really care about that though because I usually just turn the dial up to a general range that I need, not a specific temperature. The interchangeable nibs are good and there's a variety of them, with multiples of the same ones which is great in case you bend one or lose one. I've noticed that the pressure I apply while burning can bend the nibs, and that's because I have a very heavy hand and press hard into the wood. (I know I shouldn't, but it's just how I naturally hold the burner). The only issue I have so far with the burner is that the yellow handle gets a little too hot for me. I like bold, dark, deep lines, and this requires a high temperature which heats the yellow plastic up. It's not unbearable or scalding or anything like that, but it does make me uncomfortable sometimes. I wish there was just a little more insulation in the burner. All in all, a good burner to start off with if you're looking to start woodburning!

Great starter set!
So much fun! I was so excited to try pyrography for this year's holiday gifts. Personalized coaster sets and ornaments were first on the agenda. As a first timer, I decided to go with a wire tip set. I am very happy with the variety of tips included with this set.I thoroughly enjoy having 2 tools at the ready, allowing me to keep a line tip, and a shading tip available for my given project.Changing tips and setting temperatures is easy, adjusting to a variety of different techniques and wood types.

This unit did not work correctly
We didn’t need to use it immediately, so we hadn’t tried it yet. Received it Jan 23, just plugged it in to use today and it doesn’t get hot enough to burn the pattern into the wood, even turned on highest setting…we just missed the return date by 4 days.

Works great
I love that you can adjust the temperature and that you can switch between two different rods so that you don’t have to wait long to change out the heads. Lots of head choices too.

Worked well until it didn't.
I really like this product. I used it for a major project in 2021 and it worked well. Having two tools to work with was very helpful and convenient. While working on my second project in 2023 the tools stopped heating. The toggle switch for changing between the two tools no longer functions. Not sure how it happened but I am disappointed that the unit only worked for two projects and then died.

Good value for a low price
After trying a low-end, 25-watt burning iron, I decided I wanted something better. This was the lowest price for a sixty-watt unit with two burning pens. The pens are much easier to handle than the cheaper, longer iron, have a finer and wider assortment of tips, and allow you to draw much more quickly. The owl was my second attempt to do some work with the kit. I printed out an image and used carbon paper to trace it (I'm no artist) and got better results than I expected. I did find that you can't turn the unit to its maximum temperature; keep the range between 600 and 700. Even then, prepare to stop using an iron when you feel it getting hot in your fingers (you can switch over to the other iron while the first cools.I don't know about the lifespan of this low-cost unit, but if you plan to do pyrography and are starting out, this kit is a better investment than the basic kits.
