I love using this to make hot chocolate and it tastes as good as other date syrups I've tried. My only complaint is that no matter how careful I pour, it always drips down the bottle so after I use it I put the lid on and wash it off under the sink.

Great sweetener substitute. I know it was not meant for it but great to make Old Fashioned's with too. Also gives it a really cool color.

Its so interesting how date syrup's flavor & color varies depending on where its grown. This one says its from Belgium, but its not really, its actually from Algeria. Its taste reminds me of sweet red bean paste & it has a red hue instead of brown, even carmelizes a little, especially in cookies. Its such a great value of ounces to dollars, will most definitely buy more regularly. Highly recommended as it IS a perfect food & my personal favorite! A must have!

Great product, bullet proof package!

My go-to brand was out of stock, so I ordered this date syrup instead. Its quality, taste and performance in my recipes seem equivalent to my regular brand, but its bottle cap is not designed for precision pouring. I typically measure my recipe ingredients and meal portions in grams, as we have diabetics in the family. Luckily, I still had the bottle from my regular brand, which has a flip top and a small opening similar to squeezable ketchup and mustard bottles. So I washed, dried and reused my depleted bottle, and can now pour with the precision I prefer.
