🦟 Say goodbye to pesky flies with style!
The Fly Web Wall Outlet Fly Insect Trap is a compact, plug-in insect trap designed for both residential and commercial use. It utilizes energy-efficient UV light to attract flies and gnats, trapping them on non-toxic adhesive glueboards. Each unit comes with a glueboard that can hold 50-100 flies, making it an effective and eco-friendly solution for maintaining an insect-free environment.

It Works! Surprise, Surprise! Replace w 7W bulb
Gnat problem, couldn't find the source. Desperate. I tried flypaper, flypaper with a peeled grape in the container (desperate, as I wrote), cider vinegar in a rose vase and a commercial jar with commercial liquid. Nothing worked so for just short of $40 Amazon was getting this back if it didn't work. After one day, maybe 90% of the problem solved, just an occasional gnat. After 4 days, no more gnats and one ugly sticky board inside the light. Anxious to try this with flies in the garage next summer.Just a heads up. This came with what was labeled a 9W bulb that eventually died. I replaced the bulb with one with the same rating but it's a lot brighter and different color temperature. So I recommend sticking with the factory replacement or go with a 7W bulb instead of the 9W. Still very happy with this trap, effective.

Makes a world of difference against pests.
We originally purchased this to eliminate the small gnats that were coming from the soil of our indoor herbs. There were often a few buzzing around the house and were becoming rather annoying. We decided to plug it in around the corner from those plants and coincidentally just above the doggie door. After about a week, I noticed that I had not had to shoo away any bugs for awhile. I went over to the lamp and was amazed at just how many of the little bugs this device had lured in and trapped. We absolutely love this thing & would highly recommend it to anyone. Bug problem?, what bug problem?

Empty the unit regularly!
I purchased to deal with drain flies. I wasn’t too impressed with the number of fly bodies on the sticky paper. Then, I took it down to replace the pad.HUNDREDS of little fly bodies were down in the housing under the light socket! I kept shaking and turning, and they kept falling out.So make that part of your maintenance routine, otherwise the electronics could overheat and shorten the unit’s life.

Does catch gnates, drain flies, and some small flying insects.
Isac the Hurricane came through and left us with much rain in the Panhandle of Florida. I had orderedtwo of these Fly Web Wall Outlet Fly Insect Traps and they both caught insects especially at night. The two prongs for the wall socket did not hold the trap upright for me. So I put one into a base stand with a 6 foot electric cord going to the wall socket and that worked in the bathroom. The other one was placed into the wall socket and I used some duct tape to hold the top of the Insect Trap to the wall above the socket. I tried to make it look attractive. About 4 hours later, I heard a sound and went to look and the duct tape had come loose and the Fly Trap had fallen out of the socket and was laying on the floor. I asked myself if I could modify it so that it would not fall out of the socket and stay upright. I took my electric drill and made two holes on each side of the top of the plastic insect trap. I tried pushing a nail through the hole and drilled a hole in the wood paneling; I also drilled the hole so that it was inclined about 30 degree into the wood paneling. The drill bit was a perfect fit but finding a nail about an inch long that would slide through the hole and into the inclined tunnel was not easy.I went to the hardware store and looked at the nails, screws, etc. and found some one inch long cotterpins of the right diameter. That would work. Could be easily pulled out if I had to remove the insect trap and the cotter pin can be pushed into the hole and into the wood tunnel under pressure and fit tightly in the wood. Besides, gravity would keep the trap on the wall as the cotter pin was at a 30 degree angle. It works. I can now put two more insect traps in the house, one in the den and one in the bed room. I wrote this review because I felt that some other people would encounter the same problem as I had and two small holes drilled into the top of the frame and a drill hole in the wood and two cotter pins and it is stable. There must be an electric socket out there that works with this insect trap but what I did worked for me.

QUALITY HAS DROPPED
I had one of these units for two years and it worked great! When it finally died, I ordered another....it was DOA...obviously never quality checked! I returned it and asked for a replacement. It lasted one week and then on/off switch crapped out. I gave up and moved in another direction. Until quality control gets their act together, I'd advise folks not to buy this product!!!

Works amazing!
We live out in the country where the flies and fruit flies are fierce during the summer! This sleek little fly trap fits perfectly near the front door and works like a dream!! Very easy to put together and very nice design.

Worked in a small room
My home was suddenly taken over by cluster flies that were hiding in trees we keep outside in the summer and indoors in the winter. Seriously, one day there were no flies and the next day several rooms looked like there were small vultures circling overhead. I needed a product that was safe for the animals in the house - especially the bird. This product had good reviews so I gave it a try.It did not work (for me) in the kitchen, dining room, or living room. It did work well in the bathroom (at night, when this was the only light source and the door was closed).I continued to use it in the bathroom. I ended up boarding some of the animals and purchasing an aerosole (Hot Shot) that eradicated the little monsters.

Works very well!!!
This was supposed to come with a10-pack replacement glue cards, which were NOT included. I only received the product with ONE glue card.Other than that, it works very well. Only gave 3 stars because of that.UPDATED: Contacted them and they replied very quickly and are sending me the missing replacements glue cards.
