In season four of Continuum, Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols, Criminal Minds, Alias) and the mysterious time traveler, Brad Tonkin (Ryan Robbins, Falling Skies, The Killing) must battle the Future Soldiers who arrived in a flash of light in the last moments of season three. Meanwhile, Kiera's alliance with the remaining members of Liber8 challenges her relationship with both Carlos (Victor Webster, Castle, Melrose Place) and Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen, Jericho, Scream 4). Kiera must also face off against Kellog (Stephen Lobo, Arctic Air, Smallville), who is using every option available to him to become the ruler of a dark future built in his image. It's not the movie but it is about time travel
Entertaining science fiction series with a decidedly Canadian slant. Reviewed now in 2025, the political theme running throughout is dated, the writer must have deep seated trust issues, and the treatment of the time paradox is unique but the series deserves extra credit for being Canadian. Things could be said about the acting, scripts, special effects, and continuity by some sticklers who might criticize. I say balderdash to such Philistines! This gem from Vancouver is well worth whatever time you choose to give it. The fourth season is only 6 episodes to complete the story.

Awesome series!
I'm a huge SciFi fan and don't know how this was never on my radar. I just binged all 4 seasons in a week, 12 years late! I guess that's kind of the message of this series -- it's never too late. I actually went to school with two of the actors and never knew they were a part of this gem. Wow!

Ahh... man. Another series ended... Liber8 - Keira - we'll miss you!!
Oh, wow! I loved this series and I finally picked up this last season and held off as long as I could to watch it because I wasn't happy it was ending - but then again most series nowadays don't last more than 3-5 seasons. No, everything did NOT end up tied up in a nice pretty little bow - but then again other than Six Foot Under - does any series tie up every loose end?? Not in my experience. I should have know... I really REALLY should have known how they were going to end this, the writing was on the wall and I just didn't see it - or I wouldn't allow myself to see it.Spoiler sorta alert - don't read any further, I'll try not to spoil it bad.It was there to see - how much she loved her son and wanted to see him again - but would he still be there, would she still have him when the timeline changed, if it did change? How would it play out? Would the world be destroyed? Better? The same? Would she still have been married and made the same choices as she did previously? How would that work with her going back to the future? HELLO!! Everything's changed - you KNOW there's going to be some kind of a kick in the butt!!

This is one of the best sci-fi series of all time!
This is one of the best sci-fi series of all time! That includes any Star Treks, Stargates & Bablyon 5. I rank it right up there with the greats. That said, it is *intense*. Once I started the series (bought the whole series at once, having never seen it before) I could not watch anything else until I completed it. In fact, I would say I watched every episode at least twice during the course of the series due to the amount of details and plot twists. I have been a sci-fi fan since I was a kid, reading Issac Asimov and Robert Heinlein. I watched the first episode of Star Trek in 1966. Also, I have always been a fan of Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot and others of that genre. Continuum combines the best of both fields, to create a smorgasbord of intellectual deduction and police work with sci-fi gadgets and time travel. My only complaint is that it did not last any longer!

Missing episode
Our Season 4 DVD set did not include the final episode of the series. Very disappointing. Probably should have rated it a 3 instead of a 4; but we did enjoy the episodes that were included.

Well written Series that holds up under Scrutiny
Best ever written Sci-Fi Series period! I'll put this up against anything else out there. Only series ever written that didn't rely stupid plot set ups that we all know we or anyone else we know wouldn't ever do. Just would NOT HAPPEN! But they write it that way to quickly and easily get the plot going. As if insulting us and our intelligence like that is Okay because it's just a fictional movie! I hate that! Really hate movies with stuff written into them NOBODY would ever do! just to create a situational plot from. You know, like we all know how stupid engineers are and the likelihood of that happening is ZERO! I call those type movies, common sense has left the director/ writer and movie lot!

Good show, but leaped ahead too fast.
Great packaging and discs played fine. The show however was great and it does jump ahead a bit to get to a final ending. The end is what it is, but leaves you thinking why didn't they do it different. Still fun to watch.
