Overkill for what I needed but it is great for a solar powered system
Overkill for what I needed but it is great for a solar powered system. More features with room to expand.

Works perfect.
I have had one running for over 12 months now without 1 single issue. I have it mounted in an Aluminum box with 2 55ah batteries and a Ubiquiti toughswitch inside. The aluminum box is mounted outside in a mast, and it gets very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter. I modified the toughswitch to run off of 24 volts POE input on port 5, so a simple network cable from the Tycon controller to the Switch is all that was needed and helped to keep everything clean. I have a 100Watt solar panel taking care of charging and have not used the POE in feature on the controller. the 12-volt accessory output on the controller works great for running the small PC fan that helps ventilate the enclosure. I will be purchasing these again in the future as I need to set up more sites.
