Happy customer... Happy child
It took me days of reading product reviews and searching through Amazon to find a lab coat that I felt was almost perfect for my child. I came across this kid's lab coat and decided to buy it since there were so many good reviews and it looked really nice. The people and photos did not let me down. This lab coat came right on time and wrapped in plastic looking new. I did buy a size 2/3 for my daughter who will be 3yrs old in a couple weeks. To give you all an idea of how it fits I've included some photos. My daughter is about 29lbs and right at 3ft tall. I was skeptical to buy this since I thought a size 2/3 would be too small. Turns out, the coat is a little too big. As you can see from the photos, the coat is a little past her knees. I don't have a problem with that at all since that means she will be able to wear it even longer and grow into it. My only suggestion would be that the sleeves be made a little shorter if possible. They are way too long but I folded them under so that's an easy fix. Based off of the length of the coat, maybe the sleeves are just right. The quality of the coat is better than I expected. By the photos it looks kind of silky. In reality it is very soft and comfortable to wear. It makes me want one for myself. The material used to make this looks and feels expensive, which makes this definitely worth the money. If you are undecided on whether to buy this, I am here to say that you will be happy with this product. The seller was great at answering questions and there is even a little information booklet that comes with the coat. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

If you're overthinking it like I did, just get this one.
It was hard to decide which dress-up lab coat to buy, and I really over-thought the decision, but I'm glad I ordered this brand. The fabric is impressive- it's higher quality than my actual, professional lab coat. The stitching looks good and the buttons are secure. The coat hangs nicely regardless of how much bulk my two year old is wearing under it. It also doesn't wrinkle as badly as I thought it might. I don't think the pockets are going to rip out even though he's hard on pockets. My kid was thrilled with it. He just turned two so I figured the size 2-3 would give him room to grow, and it looks like he will be able to wear it for at least a year and a half, maybe two years. I rolled up the sleeves for now, and they look fine that way. I was worried that the coat would look silly until he grew into it more, but it looks fine. The thick fabric makes it hold a nice shape instead of hanging in folds or seeming baggy.Excellent value especially considering the low price.

Great quality lab coat
I ordered this lab coat in a size 6-8 for my 6-year old daughter for career day at school. The material is much thicker than a typical costume coat, the pockets are roomy, and the cut and fit are fantastic! I rolled the sleeves up just a bit to keep them out of her way at school, and the coat hangs to mid-calf. Overall, the quality of this coat is much better than I expected, particularly for the price. I did wash and dry it before she wore it to eliminate the creases caused by packaging, and the coat looked wonderful right out of the dryer. The seams are well-sewn, and the buttons are well-attached. It is just as nice as the lab coat I wore through college, but it's actually much softer! I really believe this coat will last as long as it will fit her, even with rigorous play. It is just so well made, and I can't recommend it enough. The photo is of her on her way to school. She is 50" tall and weighs just over 50 pounds. That's her favorite stuffed rabbit in one pocket!

Thoughtfully designed with the small person in mind
My 8-year-old son recently became interested in chemistry and so we wanted to get him a lab coat that would help protect his clothes and body while he worked on experiments. After doing some searching, we found this lab coat by Working Class. The lab coat is wonderful. It is made of a sturdy weave of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The coat is of simple construction and clearly designed with the small person in mind. The coat has three patch pockets, one smaller pocket on the top left breast and two larger pockets on the lower half of the coat (one on each side). There are three buttons, enough to close the coat but not overly complicated for a child to fasten. The collar and shoulders sit perfectly on my son, and the lapel meets precisely where it should, leaving enough room to vent and covering most of his shirt. While it fts well, there's still room for growth. The sleeves are a little long (easy to roll up), which will accomodate him as he grows.

The price point was perfect as I didn't want to spend too much for ...
Very impressed with this coat! I purchased it for my son's spirit week at school where they had a day where they dressed up as what they wanted to be when they grew up, in this case a scientist. The price point was perfect as I didn't want to spend too much for a single day item and had expected to "get what you pay for" and end up with a low quality piece. However this coat was way above expectations, it was very nicely made, a real quality piece. It even came with a little notebook that had the scientific method and other cool items in it that he put in the coat pocket and took along to school to show all his friends. I even took the super cute tag/label from the coat (shows a retro looking scientist print with the company's logo) and folded it so that it would fit inside of one of my old keycard vinyls and clipped that onto his jacket like a badge. Sooooo stinking cute!
