The wide base gives it good stability, but when doing pull-ups you will notice a certain degree of flex in the upper section. (6ft 220 lbs) I'd expected a more rigid - solid feel, but am satisfied with the overall function of the tower, at this price point. It does not feel flimsy or unsafe, and I use it with confidence. While it is height adjustable, it isn't a quick ez process, so my wife and I leave it at a midway point that suits us both. Hope this was helpful.

easy to put together does what is says, except the 700lb rating, we have it adjusted to tallest setting, im just using it for stretching upper back, my son did pull ups and ithe metal was flexing and wobbly, he is only 260lbs, if using it for stretching its ok, but if pull ups maybe get a more stronger unit, cuz this until metal does flex and move.
