Sure, but you can also core an apple with a golf ball and a 3 pound maul. But you first have to insert them where the sun don't shine.

Yes, it works much better than a pencil sharpener: 1) Fit - sized specifically just for golf tees 2) Length - maximizes length of trimmed tee 3) Tip - sharpens tee to a dull point (not sharp like pencil sharpener)

Chris, I have had mine for years. It's made to sharpen wood tee's but will do plastic ones with a little more effort. I use it when I break a tee, I make a short one for the Par 3's But as I have been told many many times..I could have bought 1000 short tees for the price. I bought it more as a joke.. But still use it! Not sure if you can replace the blade but it does not get dull.
