New perspectives on love & conflict
This is such a practical book with new perspectives on relationships and conflict that I've never seen anywhere else. For one thing, Carl Frankel talks frankly about the every day tensions that can naturally occur in relationships and how to re-frame the rooms of your relationship so that you invest in your love, not let it dissolve slowly until you aren't sure where the good feelings went.I highly recommend this book, as well as his partner Sheri Winston's latest gem Succulent Sexcraft. These two authors have such a creative eye for relationships and sex, and their books show how to create the love you desire in your life. It takes effort and real conversations, and while the authors can't do that for you, they can show you how relationships can feel when you've put in the hard work.

Great tips for improving relationships
Love and the More Perfect Union is a short but intense course in how to keep one’s relationship not just alive but in a state of positive growth. Author Carl Frankel explores the pitfalls that cause relationships to stagnate or founder and offers a series of mental exercises to keep the relationship vibrant, communicative and growing. It’s an easy book to read, very accessible and full of ideas and techniques that may seem obvious but which too many of us fail to practice; it’s helpful, for instance, to be reminded of the long-term consequences of negativity or of the failure to communicate within a relationship. Frankel’s focus is on keeping the life in a relationship – the passion, the fun, the friendship (not necessarily in that order) that brought a couple together in the first place. I found the book uplifting and motivating: I immediately wanted to tell my partner how much I appreciate him and to put into practice some of Frankel’s suggestions for a "more perfect union". This is a short, lively and focused book that offers the possibility of major rewards for a relatively minor investment of time and money. (You can’t beat $2.99, free for Prime members!)

From disconnection to paradise and how to get there
Carl Frankel has pulled back the curtain on the mystery of co-creating lifelong love. He starts out by setting a new context for relationship and goes on to detail ways for partners to create a sanctuary built out of positive experiences. By providing clear mental maps that men in particular will find valuable, he shows us how to navigate the tension between autonomy and connection. His continuum of connection outlines the path from total disconnection to paradise and each stage in between. His practical set of techniques takes the guesswork out of conscious relating and puts a deeper connection with one’s partner just one simple game away. This is a must-read for any couple seeking to build a more perfect union.

How to Nurture a Relationship
An excellent guide for couples (and others) who want to develop a stronger, more focused and balanced relationship that grows over time. Frankel uses good, practical examples and he presents his ideas clearly and persuasively. This is a good handbook for the bedside table, the kitchen table, and the coffee table (if it is used and is not simply a repository for fancy oversized books).

Fabulous guide for relationships
This book is very easy to read, but definitely something I have found myself reaching to re-read. Even though it is a short book, it contains plenty of fantastic information. While it may be aimed at romantic relationships, there is so much information in here that is applicable to many aspects of life. It is clear that Frankel is bringing his expertise from his life as a lawyer in, but in a way that makes sense for anyone. Why can't more relationship books be this concise and down to earth? The chapters are short enough that you could easily read this book over the course of a few hours. The first time that I read it, I paged through after reading the first chapter. I skimmed a bit and picked portions to read. Then I put it down. However, I would find my brain drifting back to what I read earlier. Some of the material in the book seems obvious - but if it truly was that obvious, wouldn't we all know it? And then, why would we need books like this? My relationship isn't in a place where things are bad at all (they're actually pretty good!) but this book I truly believe can make things better.
