Love the pattern to trace on 2 in thick insulation board.
I'm working on the "muscle" made of crumpled white wrapping paper . it is easy to shape and tape. For the next layer i used paper mache stips, After drying i am using drywall compound to smooth the outer "skin". I'm using a water wet paint brush to smooth and leave"fur" lines. When I finish I will submit another picture.

The horses turned out amazing but you have to be a good cutter or have the tools to cut out. I had a carpenter cabinet make cut them out and glue for me I painted them.
