Love it
This is great I can open it with one hand and a foot and close with one hand so I can still keep control of my reactive dog. It's tiny compared to many ramps and fits nicely in the space behind the drivers seat. The fabric supplied with it to protect the car should velcro on to the boot carpet and fold over the bumper this didn't work on mine probably due to the amount of dog hair on the carpet. I brought two sticky non slip pads and stuck them to the bumper and that works fine.Update: I have been using this almost daily since purchasing in May this morning one of the screws has come loose and fallen out. I would still recommend it as it's so easy to use but a quick check over every so often is necessary.

Brilliant steps
These are great, they are light enough to close with 1 hand which is useful with 2 dogs! My dogs are medium sized and steps are sturdy enough for them. Trained them to go up and down with chicken and now no worries about injuries getting in and out of car boot.

Very stable rigid steps, hold them in place during use
Note - check and tighten the bolts every month or two as they loosen with use and will fall out. You'll need a hex/allen key.Got these for my elderly labrador to get in and out of the car boot. I wanted solid steps rather than fabric as she doesn’t like wobbly surfaces, and refused to use a plastic ramp as it flexes when she treads on it. These steps are very stable and it was easy to train her to use them. (Don’t rush your dog, reward them for stepping on one step, give them plenty of time to feel secure, encourage them but don’t drag or push them). The 3 step version fits well on my Honda CRV 2016 (57cm off the ground), and can be angled for a slightly higher or lower boot, but you might want a 4-step version for a much higher boot. I can fold them up easily with one hand, but need two hands to unfold them. They are not heavy or bulky when folded, but do take up more space than the fabric type. They came with a fabric bumper protector (I don’t need it as I have a boot protector with a fold out flap). I would strongly recommend holding the top of the steps in place when your dog is using them as there’s nothing to fix them to the boot. They can fit in the footwell of the back seat, or if you have space, either sit them flat in the boot, or use a bungee or Velcro strap to hold them on their side against the side wall of the boot. Obviously the base gets muddy so wrap them or place them on the protector or an old towel. These are quite expensive but worth it for my dog.

Exceptional product everyone admires
We have a retired Guide Dog, over 50kg and getting on in age, he got used to using these steps in no time. Everyone who sees how convenient these are asks where we got them...

My dog’ long term healthcare and well being.
Brilliant for my four year old lab who already has hip issues. So, to help her age gracefully, we thought we’d try to assistant her ailment (as it’s not going to get better with age) by assisting her after her boundless free runs when she refuses to jump back in the car. I am not able to lift her in and after a few ‘tit bits’ thrown into the boot she quickly learnt to take the steps. They’re light weight and easily dispensed between parked cars.

AVOID - Poor quality item
I bought these steps for my arthritic lab and within 33 days the flimsy steps had broken - an inner screw has come loose and it is impossible for it to be repaired. - I have spent £80 on steps that are poorly made and now unable to be returned. I have complained to Trixie and had no response. Utter waste of money and I would advise you to buy a different item where should the be problems good cutomer care is given. Be mindful there is a safety concern...your finger can easily get nipped when closing if your not careful and also due to the sharp edges the steps will easily scrap your car/boot when folded and being put back into your boot. Very poor product with a company that has no customer care.

Very sturdy and stable!
These steps really surprised me with their sturdiness, they easily coped with the weight of my 29kg dog and they don't move when rested on the boot against the boot lip. Very impressed, the only reason I can't give 5 stars is because at the moment I don't find them terribly easy to unfold whilst holding 3 leads!! I would love to add photos and videos but the Amazon app won't let me 😢

110 lb GSD loves it
The media could not be loaded. We bought this so our 7 yr old GSD would not cause unnecessary damage to his hips. The more he used it, the more he loved it, to the point of not attempting to jump up in the truck anymore. He's 9 now and his favorite thing in the world is to go for a ride. As you can see in the video, it supports his weight and stays stable. It folds/opens easily and it's not cumbersome.
