I bought these vanilla beans at a fantastic price. I will always buy the grade A beans now. They are plump and juicy and solo much better than the grade B . They smell fantastic even though the packaging. I will definitely buy the again.

The beans are so moist and fragrant

It’s not a huge deal but I do like to get what I paid for and it seems to be a trend in the reviews where people pay for 10 beans but get less. I received 9. I didn’t want the hassle of a return. I’m not sure if I would buy again but if I did and received less than 10 again I definitely wouldn’t be a repeat buyer. Other than that the beans are great!

Update 1 (6 days post delivery): beans measured 2.1oz total, didn’t count the number. All beans were almost identical in length. Found one 1mm spot of mold on one bean that I scraped off.The packing says not to waste your time splitting or scraping the beans, but I never abide by rules like that so I did cut them in half and scraped all of them. Very little oily-ness to the beans but were still soft and pliable. For those for which it matters- I consistently scraped about a heaping 1/4tsp of seeds from each pod. Divided them 1.0oz and 1.1oz and put them in 8oz and 16oz Capt Morgan white rum, respectively. Shaken, dated, and stored. This is my first time making vanilla extract so I am testing the rules of 1oz pods: 8oz liquor. I will likely buy more beans later and add it to the 16oz jar and top off with the liquor.Ordered 25 beans for diy extract. Delivered three days ago. Smells good in box and out in vacuum sealed packaging. Smells like marshmallows; interpret that as you will. Packaged weight is 2.5oz so I suspect unpackaged will be about 2oz (theoretically only good for ~16oz extract if true; a fifth of alcohol is 25.4oz so would need about 3oz “proper”).No visible evidence of mold for now. Waiting to get to liquor store before opening package. Will update with actual bean quality at that time.

These seemed freshand smell good. I'm making vanilla that has to set for a few months. The beans are turning the vodka the right color so I'm hopeful that they'll make good Christmas gifts.

The beans were nice and fresh not died out like I have gotten in the past. The smelled wonderful. Extract takes several months so hoping it comes out as good as the beans smell.

I used these to make vanilla extract and they were perfect.

I made Extract. It smells great but it’s too early to try yet.
