She is getting sub Q fluids twice a week. I'm an RN, and I since we use Ensure or various nutritional supplements for people who can't eat enough calories, I searched for a supplement for dogs and found this STAT. We have been squirting 5cc of this into her mouth using a needle-less syringe at least once a day. At first, when she wasn't eating at all, we did this 2-3x/day, but now we only use it in the morning. She seems to like the taste, and it doesn't have much of an odor--perhaps almost vanilla-like. Since we started her on this, her appetite has improved so much that it's now back to normal. She's maintained her weight since we started this a couple of months ago. Her labs kidney values still aren't good, but she acts like she's fine!
