Admittedly this is a good price for how many you get, however there are a lot of brown and broken bay leaves so not such a good deal

Enough bay leaves for a small country
I used to buy bags of bay leaves from a local shop, but they went over to the branded jars with half a dozen leaves in for £3.50, so I thought I would see what I could get online. Just didn't think how many bay leaves would be in a 250g bag, so it was a bit of a shock when it arrived. Now distributing bay leaves to family, friends and anyone who passes the house. The quality seems okay, compared to what I've had before, and really rather extraordinary value.

A lot of small pieces
Semi selected must be code for the bottom of the barrel. Very fragrant, but I'd estimate half of the bag is pieces of leaves rather than full leaves.
