Just like the real deal
I will start off by saying that I have been gluten-free for about 15 years now. There are a couple items you miss once you go gluten free. Usually it's bread. But having gone to school for a pastry degree, I haven't able to adapt many recipes from wheat to gluten-free successfully. Breads, cakes, you name it. However there are certain things that you just can't copy. One of them is Kraft macaroni and cheese. It's its own thing. So when this came out I was so excited to try it although hesitant, and I am so glad that I did.Gluten-free Kraft mac and cheese taste just like the original. When I tell you that I actually cried a little bit when I tried it, I wouldn't be lying to you. It has the same delicious, fake cheese goodness of Kraft Mac, the noodles are close enough that once it's covered with the cheese it's almost the same thing. The noodles are a little bitter on their own as a lot of gluten-free noodles can be, but once it's covered, like I said, it tastes the same. And yes after 15 years of being gluten-free how do I know if it's the same? well pretty much the same way I check to see if my gluten-free food is any good and comparable to the wheat ones any other day... I asked my wheat-eating husband to try it. He said it taste identical. So there you have it. If you have not tried it please try it.Also, I received this at a pretty decent price. It was only $1.99 here for a couple boxes and it can be up to almost $4 a box depending on the store that you're at locally. So I would say the value of getting from Amazon was a big one.

actually good
so tasty. boxed mac and cheese is a junkfood delicacy and kraft delivers for gluten-free customers. most gluten free macs are garbage, but this is good. Avoid pretty much every other brand.

Expensive for macaroni and cheese!
It tastes a little different but high quality. Good texture if you boil it correctly. Try your local supermarket first. Then you can buy 1 to try. Found it at Walmart. Still expensive. No change in instructions.

So tasty and convenient!
I'll admit that I was hesitant to purchase this item, since so many GF products just aren't good. We were very pleasantly surprised at how the flavor and texture is virtually the same as the non-GF wheat version we remember. We didn't think that was possible! Yes, it costs more, but sometimes it just feels good to enjoy something that is mainstream. My only concern was that it is "NSF Certified" instead of displaying the better known symbol from the GFCO, but they have the same standards, and additional research on the Kraft website was reassuring enough to be comfortable trying it. We are happy to report that "glutening" has not happened.
