So far so good. Better than sony
I got this as a replacement for a Sony player that froze up constantly and was super slow and couldn't stay connected to the internet. It has been good for the few weeks I've had it. Fast startup and streams like a dream if you have good wifi or are on a LAN. My wifi is poor so I got the tplink Internet Lan expander that uses your wall wiring and paired it with an ethernet switch and plugged this player and two other items into it. Now I don't have to worry about wifi and this works great. I streamed a Netflix movie the other day and it looked better than a blu ray disc.

This Player Saved Me From Sony Problems!
I'd been messing with a 2 year old Sony player since getting it, to no avail. I was using it with my home wifi system, which had plenty of speed, yet the Sony kept rebuffering when I watched streaming on especially Hulu ( some Netflix too ) and it was hard to watch even one show in 2 days, because it would keep rewinding to a few minutes before that. It was like Groundhog Day!So I called Hulu support and expressed my frustration. The guy told me that they've had these kinds of problems with Sony players a LOT, but not with Samsung. So this was a highly rated Samsung, so I tried it. ( After wasting my money on the 2 year old Sony! Never again Sony! )So this unit plays my streaming totally perfectly! It's like having my streaming on a DVR or something. I can fast forward,m rewind, pause, etc., all perfect, and it picks right up and plays, with perfect subtitles. ( I'm 30% hearing impaired, and the Sony would mess up the subtitles with that rebuffering problem, too! )So I love this player and it will always be Samsung for me, from now on!

Low End Price -- High Quality Player
I purchased 2 of the Samsung BDJ6300. My old Philips Blu Ray player was acting a little weird after 3 years of heavy use so I swapped all of my DVD players out for Blu Ray machines. I've noticed that even regular DVD's appear to have a better picture when played through a Blu Ray player. The Samsung is a "smart" Blu Ray player offering WiFi streaming options and plays audio and video files on flash drives in a multitude of formats. I found both of the BDJ6300's I purchased to be a bit quirky at first. I've even made sure I have the latest firmware installed. However, despite a few minor quirks the machine plays Blu Ray and DVD's well. The ONLY issue that bugs the heck out of me is the disc menu. I read in the reviews this was a problem so it's not just me. Once the player brings up the main disc menu It's almost impossible to tell which button is highlighted. Play, scene selection, audio settings and any other options on the disc menu end up being a guessing game when trying to select them. I've even got right up to the screen and still had trouble seeing which option was highlighted.

Dream Machine!
I have been using this player for about 8 months now. It works beautifully and is very easy to operate. My favorite feature is that I can watch Netflix and Amazon Video on it. Many of the wifi players will only do one or the other. The reception is great and the playback is fantastic. I'm ordering another one for another TV because I loved it so much.

Had good reviews.
I had a Sony BDPBX350. It lasted about a year and a half and It capped out. It was never my favorite but it worked for me on a budget. This one has been excellent from my 2 hours of use. Shutting down and turning on quickly whileConnecting to the internet in a swift fashion. It has a nice somewhat easy to navigate menu. I use amazon prime and Netflix on it. No trouble. The remote will take an adjustment period. I like it.

Worth Every Penny - Sound and Picture Quality is Top-Notch
Excellent quality. Plays DVDs (Blue-Ray and Standard), music CDs, and has lots of apps (Netflix, Pandora, Hulu, etc). Easy to use, small and compact, and attractive. Sound and picture quality is as good as it gets (NOTE: IF you use high-quality HDMI cables, Speaker wire, and route through a quality component. I route through a Pioneer HDX-720 Theater surround-sound receiver with 4K capable HDMI cables). If I had one complaint, it would be that it is a bit slow in response...for instance, if you want to listen to Pandora, then you decide to watch a movie, the time it takes from "switching" from Pandora to Netflix (for example) takes several minutes. I guess I'm just impatient, so my wife tells me to "deal with it"...but all else is fantastic.

Product is Awful
Bought this item used. It came with no instructions or cables, and looked like it had been sitting in someones junk basement for 20 years. However, that is the seller's fault, not the product. The product itself had a flawed design on the front panel. There is no LED, and the power and play/eject buttons lie so flat on the panel that they are almost imperceptible to sight or touch. It is as if the manufacturers were deliberately trying to hide the buttons. Playback quality was poor when it did play. After the 3rd time it refused to play DVD's anymore, claiming that DVD's were from the wrong region (not so, all DVD's were from Region 1 US and the player even rejected the ones it had played previously). That again may be due to the poor quality of refurbishment by the seller. Finally, I tried to use this as a smart device to access online streaming content. The menu options to do so are clunky and not intuitive, audio intermittently goes on and off. Additionally, when done streaming one has to power down the player, simply switching back to TV or DVD mode does not suffice to get the TV or DVD to work.
