Jacquard Acid Dyes .5oz, Chestnut (102853)

This dyed a purple plum color, after adding other colors I got it to dye a dark brown with burgundy undertones. I hate that it is not brown like it states

Good colorfast dye....however, make sure to check that the dye in the container you receive is the color you think it will be. My container labeled 'Chestnut" was in fact dark purple.
