I like this pomade, it's taken me a minute to find something that wasn't toxic, and still did what I wanted. While this scent is designed for guys, it isn't totally out of way for us gals. It's not a feminine scent, but it's not overpoweringly masculine either. It holds well, and keeps me styled through the day, but it's not hard, like hair cement. It does give way, but will go right back if you style it back. It does need to be washed out at the end of the day, (If you're a stickler like me), otherwise, go with the flow dude. Good product, Non toxic, Ok fragrance, good hold, good price. Hmmmm yeah, 5 stars.

A nice hair pomade for fades with short hair, slick backs and fly aways! It has a nice smooth texture for application and doesn't feel sticky, wet or hard on hair. By far the easiest pomade to rinse off of my hair so far (I've used a multitude of pomades). I really like the badger products I use!

Overall a good pomade. You don't need much to keep your hair in place with a nice, flexible, natural hold and look. I think the smell is noticeable when you're handling it, but not nearly strong enough that other people would notice (unless they are sniffing your hair, and do you really care what somebody weird enough to sniff your hair thinks?). In any event, I really like the smell. The downside for me is that it does make your hair feel a bit greasy, which is why I just narrowly prefer john masters. That being said, the price of the two fluctuates, and sometimes the Badger is much cheaper, in which case I'd just get that.

Stellar product. Purchased seeking a more natural and chemical free hair product. As a previous user of American Crew hair pomade, it took a few days to get used to how this pomade is dispensed from the similar puck type container. What I mean by that is Badger may seem stiff and determined to stay in its can. Just be patient, once you realize it melts to your touch, the appropriate amount needed is easily obtained. A bit less hold than the American Crew fiber pomade I was using, but I would describe it as a more natural hold. More controlled movement. I have really thick and coarse hair and I wouldn't recommend it for chunky or spiky gravity defying hairstyles. But for someone looking to tame flyaways and shape your hair in a more movable way, it's wonderful. I've even been using a small amount for my beard with excellent results. Enjoying the smell too, sort of a spicy earl grey smell. Will buy again and again.

They recently changed the formula and now it is chunky and not a smooth pomade. It will leave chunks of pomade in your hair.Also Adding, since the formula change, I went through it twice as fast as I would with the old formula. The product now is less useful and you have to use more of it. Why make it less organic?

This product smells amazing. Honestly one of the best smelling products I’ve ever had. The hold seems more “light” than “medium”, and leaves your hair looking greasy. If you are going for that wet greasy look, it is perfect. I tried to use more product for more hold - too greasy. I used less product - still greasy and not enough hold. Would love this product if it wasn’t so oily, but the essential oils are why it smells so good.

The ingredient list is stellar. No unpronounceable chemicals. The question: does it look good and does it produce a medium hold as promised? Answer: YES.

It took me days to choose a hair product for my boys. Really didn’t want it to harm their hair or scalp . Went with this one because of the trusted brand. It did not disappoint! Works well, holds well, and the smell is really nice! Surprisingly! Best so far. I do with it was matte like some pomades but I knew it would be shiny before purchasing. It’s not too bad though and doesn’t seem to stay. I’m sure if someone wanted more shine they could just use a bit more product. In any case, satisfied! And price is right compared to some other options.
