Followed the directions to a T. Scrapping the seeds was the most vague part of the directions. It has been 2 weeks and I am 0/4 on germination.^2 hours later update: they updated me on sprouting timeline. Some sprout way after 2-4 days like directions say. Could be anywhere from 2-5 weeks for all but the Elm.It has been two weeks without a sprout so they’re sending me a new kit. A+ service

Most of the seedlings sprouted perfectly. The lollobolly pine did not but when I reached out to them they told me they would send me a new kit for free! Can't beat the customer service!

Only 2 types of seeds (out of the 4 types in the box) actually sprouted. It has been 4 months and the other 2 never did sprout. Should I give up on them?

Its definitely a no for me. My kids and I followed the instructions to a T. Not only did not one seed germinate after the 24hr soaking upon planting not one sprouted! The instruction say to scratch the surface but that's nearly impossible when the black seeds are smaller than kiwi seed lol. Save your money!

Starting to see my saplings, had to contact support for a couple that didn't sprout and they immediately sent out new seeds. Lovely company, and fun project.

When we opened the box I noticed that we received two black spruce and no Siberia elm. I followed the directions on the box and never got anything to sprout. I work at a greenhouse seasonally so when we opened up I tried starting the leftover seeds there, and again had no luck.

I was a little sceptical about this product but my son and I had a great time doing this together. Great kit that grows well exactly as described.!

Took a while for the seeds to take. My first attempt, I followed the instructions to scratch the seeds first. None of those seeds sprouted. My second attempt, I just put the seeds in a water soaked paper towel for a few days and they sprouted fine. I have 8 healthy trees about 6" tall now. I hope to pass these trees on to my kid in years to come. Great gift idea.

This product was an excellent idea for something unique. Bought as a gift for my wife, who is a natural gardener cursed with a small space to garden in, loved the idea.However, the trees simply didn't grow. She is an excellent gardener, so I know the problem is the product itself. Given that it was on a flash sale, my guess is that it was an old product that had expired.So, I gifted my wife a small pot of dirt instead of a cool mini tree you can tend to. As an empty pot of dirt, this was overpaid for.

It was a Christmas gift and it was missing one of the trees so a little disappointed

Being on the wrong side of 75 gives you a different outlook on life. I decided to try something that would last long into the future, Bonsai seemed like the perfect answer. I planted them and waited, germination was quicker than I thought, except for the Siberian Elm...nothing. A quick message to the seller solved my problem in a matter of DAYS. They certainly EXCEEDED my expectations. A job well done, please support this company.And no, I don't work for them.

Instructions are confusing, I kinda just gave up but I bet they would look good if you were smarter than me T-T
