Great read.
It's been some time now since I received my design degree and wanted a refresher. I grabbed this book and it did just that. One thing I do wish is that the references are kind of outdated. While reading and taking notes, it really felt, "old". This needs a refresher and hit on the points of the present time and design programs. It does hit on the digital topic, but it need more. Overall, good read and do recommend this, better if you can find it used. Not really one to buy new to leave on your coffee table.

HUGE book. Full of timeless logo examples.
This book is an invaluable reference tool for anyone who works with visual identity and logo design. All the example are timeless. I will admit, the book is comically large in size, but I don't mind. Just makes me feel like a hobbit reading a normal sized book.

Very informative
Overall a good read and very informative, however there are some errors in the writing that should have been caught in the editing process and honestly kindof take me right out of the book.
