Can this trap caught mouse?** A: Great trap. I had bought the all plastic traps and had lost most of them as the mice were not killed and ran away with the trap attached to them. Since getting these any trap activated has a dead mouse on it wher I left it. Sturdy and easy to set. Easy to see if sprung by the yellow strip on the bar that kills the mouse **Q: Can I hurt my fingers on this trap? I'm quite clumsy!** A: I set the traps after baiting them and then carefully placed them by holding the opposite end so I wasn’t in danger of trapping my fingers if they accidentally went off!!! You could also set the traps then slide them into place using a ruler, I did this with the ones that needed to go under the cabinets! **Q: I bought it 3 days ago, but haven’t caught a mouse until now. Do I need more patience and time? Is there any suggestion?** A: Use chocolate such as Nutella; something they can't easily grab and run away with. You need to make them work for it so they'll try harder, putting more weight on the trap insuring they set it off. **Q: What bait is attractive enough to mouse? Will the mouse escape after caught?** A: I choose peanut butter and chocolate as seller suggest. It works so far. Make sure put a little into bait cup so the mouse can’t get it out before triggering the trap. This trap clamp firmly and the mouse can’t escape from it.
