Hawaiian Papaya Seed Dressing Mix

Expensive but cheaper than a trip to Hawaii!

I love this papaya seed dressing!! I lived on Kauai for 27 years and this was one of my regular purchases, though I typically bought it in bottle form. It is excellent on salads, but I love to use it as a marinade on shrimp. I live in California now where it isn’t available. The only thing I didn’t like is the price. In Hawaii this little packet would probably cost about $1.50. The price is excessive but the flavor is fabulous.

I tried this for the first time when I was in Kauai. I had it at numerous restaurants and just fell in love! I found these packets on the island and brought home a few but that wasn't enough for me because we ran out quickly. Thank goodness I found this on Amazon. It's more expensive here for sure however it is so good, I don't even mind. It'll keep me satisfied until my next trip to Kauai (I'll have to fully stock up when I go back).

This mix makes 1 cup when you are done making it. The flavor was good, wish it had more depth.

Love love love this , I’ve been using it for years. The only sad thing is that the price is more than double to buy it on Amazon.

Tried some papaya seed dressing in Hawaii last year. Bought one of these packets before leaving. It is on the expensive side but it's worth the price (to me). A bottle of really good dressing at the grocery store is not much less than these packets and these packets are the only way I can get papaya seed dressing.

I was quite happy when I typed in the Papaya Seed Dressing that Amazon found it for me. My grandaughter brought me a packet back from Hawaii and I loved it and was elated when I found that I could order it on line. It is a very refreshing salad dressing and I might even try it as a marinade. I would suggest anyone who likes something different that you make from scratch to try this dressing.

Mmmmm. This is yummy dressing. A friend brought it back from Hawaii and then I searched it out on amazon so I could keep enjoying it. I especially enjoy it on a green salad that includes a little fruit. The dressing has a somewhat sweet taste to it, similar to poppy seed dressing.
