Replacement handle
This handle is a little different than the one I replaced, you pull down to open instead of pushing in, but it is better I believe, the service is great because I needed a spindle because I couldn’t get the other one off, I contacted them and they sent one right away

Great Spring Action! Fantastic Customer Service!
INTRO:The spring in my storm door handle lost its springiness and I was looking for a proper replacement. The only information I had to go by was a marking on the back of the handle that said CMECH. A web search brought me to an Amazon review for this product and the author mentioned it replaced a handle for them made by the same company. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer further specifics, so I took a gamble ordering it.FYI - Additional research after this home repair project was completed led me to properly identify my original door handle as an Anderson Emco Forever Door Handle (Part #38434).PROS:The excellent spring action on this handle has restored proper functionality to the handles on both sides of my storm door.I’m a novice when it comes to door hardware. I didn’t realize that this handle operates a bit differently than the previous door handle I was trying to replace it with. This door part had a business card in the packaging with a phone number on it that connected me straight to the cell phone of the business owner. The owner, Roger, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. He informed me that I had to replace the door strike from a pin type to a flat type, and he offered to send out the missing parts, including spare shims. He sent them to me at no charge, which he didn’t have to do, and they arrived 3 to 4 days later. I was, and still am, very impressed by the level of customer service I received from this company!CONS:I strongly miss being able to simply push my old door handle as I walked into my door to release the latch. I used to be able to easily use one hand, or a part of my arm or torso to release the latch while holding bags or heavy objects as I left my house. Unfortunately, this handle doesn’t work the same way — it requires a twisting motion to release the latch which isn’t convenient when an empty hand isn’t available. The handle itself doesn’t feel nice in my hand — it's physically short and its edges aren’t very ergonomic. The end tends to jab into my palm when grabbing it.REVIEW SUMMARY:This handle got the repair job done! Unfortunately, I found out after the fact where to find the exact original part I was seeking at around the same price. Due to the tremendous kindness and friendliness of the business owner, I didn’t have the heart to return to the parts. I’m slightly disappointed with the handle, but I’m reminded each time I use it that there are still good people in the world, and it's hard to put a price on that.IMPORTANT NOTE:I spend a very lengthy amount of time using the products I review, and I often spend even longer documenting them in writing, photos, and occasionally videos, for your benefit. If you found this review to be insightful, please mark it helpful below — it lets me and Amazon know that I’m doing a good job. Thank you, and have a great day!

I needed to replace the broken handle that was on my door. The handle came, but I could not get the spindle out of the old handle which you need to install the new one.The Seller included instructions to get a new spindle free of charge if you cannot remove the old spindle.I received it today and it fits perfect.Great customer service!

Very nice. Direct fit for my Anderson storm door
I bought this handle without measuring the spindle diameter before buying . But it seems most spindles are this size standard . This differs from the old handle, in as it only turns up and down. Does not push in. But that's fine because they reinforced the handles catch with a much thicker, harder and tougher type of plastic over metalThe only problem I ran into was having to actually cut the old handle off of the spindle. Because if the way it was anchored. A Dremel tool made Kwik work if that. Once I had the spindle in hand. I made sure the outer handle was in the right position. Slid the spindle into it until it seated . Put the inner door handle base on, held it in place with the old attachment screws ( which you will need. Do not throw them away ) slid the inner door handle onto the spindle tightens the handle set screw. Righted the handle base screws. Then clipped on the handle arm. And done. Great buy
