Heavy duty. Much more solid and heavy duty than I expected. However, I recommend that the manufacturer redesign to have heavier duty lock set attachment screws. They were adequate, but for the amount of heft of the locks, the screws should be thicker. I want to emphasize, the screws worked fine, and I put them on double side by side glass doors, so the doors are only as secure as the glass. I still recommend the lock for the price and the finished metal looks and feels great, but can't give a 5 star, because I just think the screws should match the heft of the lock. I would buy again and I really like the lock mechanism feel when you turn the key to lock and unlock, very tight like a high end lock. Nice crisp closure and deadbolt click.

Got the entry door combo keyed alike in nickel finish.Looks nice. But that's about the end of the positives here.Adjusting for standard American style door it barely fits even though measurements say it should fit easily. I really had to finagel both deadbolt and handle to make it work. If there's ANY pressure on the latch it won't function. I'm just talking standard weather strip pushing on the door to seal it. I Have disassembled and reassembled the deadbolt 4 times, will function properly for 2-3 uses then won't fully engage.Do not waste your money. Pay for a real manufacturer's product.

The 'inside facing' screw connecting the two door nobs required me to rotate the handle during installation. This was not a big deal, it took me a few moments to figure out.The keys were sticky at first; in fact, seemed like they wouldn't fit. After fiddling for a few seconds, the key inserted properly.Otherwise, the install was very easy aside from what I've mentioned above, it's a SOLID and WELL BUILT product and I'd buy it again.

I bought this for my front door. It was super easy to install. The handle is actually way more substantial than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. My only negative about this product are the edges/corners. I’ve reached out to grab the handle without watching plenty. The times that I miss or just barely reach it have me checking my hand for signs of blood. Definitely worth considering if you have little ones....or if you’re accident prone....

Feels nice and sturdy but doesn't matter since i can't install it due to its design, as you can see the screw on the right side of the plate is located directly behind the handle & even with the handle in the down position i don't have enough room to get a screw driver in there .... the screw is also wedged at an angle into the stem of the handle. I can't imagine a real German engineer came up w/this design, a 5 yr old could have done better

We live on the lake and recently painted all of our entry doors, for a total of five. Never had seen this product in stores but really liked the square look. These deadbolt locks were used on three of the doors and also purchased the entry lever door handles to match. The door handles were a new product and were listed as coming soon. I emailed the company and received a reply within hours concerning the date of availability for the matching square door levers. My husband installed these and was very impressed with the workmanship and I am very pleased with the look. We would definitely purchase this item again.

This is a very decent product. The material feels sturdy and heavy. The best part was that it was adjustable to 2 3/4" from 2 3/8". Installation was easy. Had to leave the existing strike plate for the door handles due to the door not closing properly with the included strike plate.The only drawbacks for me (hence 4 stars) were:1. There wasn't a 2 pack deal, so I had to buy 2 individually meaning I now have 2 diff keys for my doors rather than just 1.2. The handles have a somewhat sharpness to the edges so if someone goes at the door handle too hard, there could be a bit of pain/possible cuts.Other than that I'm satisfied with this product. Great new look for my old doors.

This product looks great but is total junk. The materials are cheap metal and plastic. We bought three total and one failed after about a month that we ended up replacing. Last week, we put the key in and turned the handle and an internal piece broke off, preventing us from being able to open the door from the outside or inside (once we go it). The small key that came with the deadbolt should have been a huge red flag. Save yourself time and money and buy a better brand.
