Uni Jet Stream Prime High Grade multi ballpoint pen - Refill - 0.5mm - Black - SXR-200-05

Im more used to 5, so I’m very happy that I could swap my 7mm to a 5mm. A good refill really does make a world of difference. It’s incredibly smooth, especially compared to regular refills.

Bought this to use in my EDC pen, a Makerset Field Pen. Fits the pen perfectly, smooth writing, and a nice crisp thin line. Like most D1 type ink cartridges, it's not really designed for writing long letters or books as there's really not a lot of ink in it; really just for taking notes each day in your Moleskin or Field Notes books. It works well on the different paper types I tested it on. I've used other larger Uni pens and refills in the past, and this one works just like the big boys so far.As noted by another reviewer, this item shipped direct from Japan via sailboat or homing albatross, taking over a month to arrive. But arrive it did, and I wasn't in a hurry for it, so no star downgrade due to that. Just be aware.

Uni Jet Stream Prime high grade is the best pen I have. The replacement works great.

The only complaint I have is that I write at a certain angle and that causes my pen not to write as smoothly

This order took a looong time to arrive, so beware if you're in a rush, but the product arrived safely and I love these ink refills. I switch these out for ballpoint in some of my 'fancy' pens and much prefer this ink. It dries quickly, so while I often highlight over my handwriting, there's no smearing!

After only 3 days of use, ink has not been feeding properly, causing me to either retrace over what I just wrote and have it look SLOPPY. Or throw everything away and start over with a cheap BIC pen that is more reliable! Never buying this again!
