Wow! What a find, especially at this price. For a Thanksgiving / Christmas dinner table I usually use a cut-in-half 8x4 sheet of plywood with both halves screwed down into wooden saw horses to give me an 8x4 table. That is the maximum size table that will fit in the place used. It comfortably seats 10 and will hold up to 12. Put on a table cloth and it works. It's a pain to set them up however, not the worst thing but finding these tables which are exactly 4x4 was a nice surprise and worth buying. I bought 2. They have folding legs and are so much easier to move around. Setting them up now takes about 5 seconds. No more screwing the makeshift top into saw horses. The legs fold away perfectly and lock into position when open. And when open the table is plenty sturdy for a dinner table. And though we use a table cloth, these tables are very nicely finished. I couldn't believe it when I found these tables at 4x4 each, that is an unusual size. Set up at the holidays will be so much easier. They could also come in handy at other times too for different purposes. These arrived in less than a week in perfect condition. However, I could see why some of the previous reviewers received theirs damaged, there is no padding around the table inside its tight fitting box. I was lucky I guess that mine weren't dropped or mishandled. These tables are great to have in case needed for get togethers.

48 inches square is a weird size for lots of tables but the general size for table top miniature wargames. It's solid, the height is comfortable to play with while standing, the recessed rivets don't cause a problem with a neoprene mat, and it folds up slim enough to easily store along a wall. The only thing you give up is the width to put things on the sides, but that's easily dealt with using end tables or TV trays. It's great if you're looking to do any sort of games, whether tabletop miniatures, role playing games, or board games.

I bought it for a card table. The only thing I don’t like is that you see the end of the bolts on top. Sometimes stops the cards. I put a tablecloth on it and it was great.

The table seems really nice. We just took it out of the box. The shipping was awful. It took forever to get here. I had no details when it would come or when it was shipped until a couple of days before it came. The time of delivery kept changing.

Alright, first we need to talk about this table. 48" is not a common size, and for my apartment I wanted something large enough to easily host (with elbow room) four people and in a pinch comfortably sit eight (closely, cheek to cheek). This table is perfectly sized. Perfectly. It is made like a tank, heavy and sturdy. I feel I could crawl atop it and dance to my heart's content. The rivets in the top are near flush (very close to it), so don't be put off by that. I have a table cloth and its nicely covered with no bumps. The bumper around the edge is handy. The legs are solid and the whole thing hardly shakes if I try my best to upset it.Second, the service. I ordered mine here on Amazon to be sent by OKCommerce. The table came quick as can be (a couple of days, amazing) packed tight to a wooden pallet. Not a scratch on it, not a ding, secure and easy. That was wonderful.I recommend the crap out of this table and I recommend the bajeezus out of OKCommerce and Amazon and FlashFurniture.This is Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

loove it-it it huge much bigger than I thought, but first one came damaged and they replace it with no problem. My husband does his crossword jon it so stays up all the time and it hold 1000 pieces great with room to spare. working on 2000 piece and no extra room but it is working out well. Will fold down if ever we need it to but since he got 4 puzzles for Christmas it won't be down for some time. t is for good height but unless you have chairs all around it, you will have to stand to reach across it since it is to wide. Very smooth so no bumps when putting pieces together. Very well made

I love my new table! I use it for cutting out fabric. 48" x 48" is perfect size. The smooth top is essential so as not to snag fabric. Will have to get a cutting board to go over the rivets in top. Some are flush others are sunken. Two of the corners got banged up in transit but not enough for me to return it. The legs were impossible for my daughter and me to lock in place. Had to get a man's strong hands to do it. It's nice and sturdy. I wouldn't try dancing on it however, like one reviewer said.
