Breathe Healthy Sugar Skulls Face Mask, Reusable Mask for Men and Women, Adjustable, Breathable & Washable, Made in the USA

I bought my first Breathe Healthy mask a couple years ago when I moved to a new area and started suffering from allergies during my bike commute. Back then there were not that many reusable masks to choose from—but even after trying out other brands that have appeared since COVID, these continue to be my top choice. The fabric is highly breathable compared to the sleek polyester fashion brands that have popped up. And the adjustable ear loops, nose bar, and generous cut of fabric continue to make this the best fitting mask. It adjusts perfectly to fit to my face, creating a seal around my chin, nose, and cheeks. It might *look* looser or bulkier than some of the sleeker new brands out there, but I have yet to find another brand that actually fits, seals, and still breathes as well as these. Even my fiancée, who has a beard and a much broader face than mine, finds these a more comfortable fit thanks to their broad range of adjustability. The adjustable ear loops may be slightly bulkier than other masks, but (1) that is what makes them so durable in the wash and (2) now that I have to wear them 8 hours a day, their softer edge irritates my ears less than the flatter elastic loops out there. I’ve washed mine dozens of times over the years (in a mesh delicates bag) and they still work and fit like new—whereas another brand I tried already has frayed elastic ear loops just two washes after purchase. The quality of these masks is really well worth the $5 or $10 dollars they cost above your average COVID-era face mask. (I’ve bought 9 or 10 of these now, so apologies if you see this same review on the other styles I’ve purchased—I just really am so pleased with these!)

It works!!! I am sooo happy with this mask. Fits well and with an easy adjustment doesnt steam up my glasses... yay! Sometimes I feel like I'm allergic to everything. In reality my worst symptoms are from dust, molds and pet dander. We're in the process of moving, been in this house for over a decade, which means there's years of dust, dander and unfortunately in the south mold too. After a devastating day in my basement, and an attic room I went searching for a mask. I can officially say I've worn the mask for 6 different projects/room clean up' s and not a sniffle or asthma attack...just nothing!!! Only con is it gets hot under there. at first it was a little suffocating I just had to trick my brain that it was fine. Now I find it doesn't bother me at all except a few pimples from the excess moisture. Worth every one!!!!! Can't believe I'm sharing these horrid pics of myself but here I am doing it! Will be purchasing more for family and some friends I know who suffer with outdoor allergies.

This is my 4th purchase of this brand of mask. I know they're not the cheapest, but they are the best. They come completely sealed in a heavy, reclosable bag. I've had my original ones for 3, almost 4 years now & they're as good as the day I got them! These masks protect my lungs from all kinds of allergens & protected me from the flu when my entire house of 5 all came down with it. They are so easy to clean - I clean mine by hand. As for the 'blow out the candle test' no, you cannot blow a candle out with this mask on. The patterns are so fun - I do wish they had some tropical patterns though lol. As a person with 'sensitive' lungs & sinuses - I very highly recommend these masks! I will buy again when I need to.

No, I didn't buy this to keep viruses out. I'm not that foolish. However, I do have horrible allergies to dust, the flat I live in is Dust Central, and I needed something to keep those nasty dust motes out of my mouth and nose so I don't spend my life coughing and sneezing. This little mask does the trick perfectly. It seals surprisingly well and it's comfortable; and, should the bead break or fall off (as one reviewer noted), it's really easy to replace it with another one, which you could get at any fabric or craft store. I love the fact that it's easily washable, and the sugar skulls pattern is as cute as can be. As Breathe Healthy says, nobody really wants to wear a mask, but if you have to wear one, you might as well wear one you like. Tip: when adjusting the beads, make the lower string shorter so the bead sits just behind your earlobe and the loop hangs straight down. It's more comfortable that way.

Bought this for my girlfriend who is allergic to my dog. She uses it when she is over to prevent a flair up. Only problem is that it is uncomfortable to sleep in. It has beads on the earpieces to help adjust the size and these make the mask uncomfortable if laying on this part of the mask. Otherwise it is a great buy. Nice workmanship, cute design. A-

I am very disapointed in this product. My 2 reasons... Construction and Performance. Construction : When I opened the package I was very unsure about how this product could work. I had been excited by the promise of it being treated to prevent tiny spores from penetrating the fabric. However there was nothing I could see or feel to verify this. This mask looked like something I could make at home on my own sewing machine. The outer layer looked to be of a quilting grade fabric with the inner side that of a very thin soft cotton... amost a fleece, but not quite. The ties around the ears are made of the same material white shoelaces are made of while the stays are made of the soft plastic beads my girls use to make bracelets out of. The one positive is that the inner nose base bends and folds quite easily over the bridge of the nose; however, I am not positive what it is made of since I cannot see it. Performance: After having sinus surgery, my nasal passage way is very sensitive to any fiberglass, mold spores, dust or pollen. I bought this mask because it stated that it was able to keep the majority of such away from me breathing it in. The mask did NOT keep anything away from me breathing sports in. In fact, it gave me the false confidence to try something that gave me the worst headache I have had since my surgery. Therefore I cannot recommend this product to others and will be asking for a refund.

Adjustable and comfortable! I love that you can adjust the strings so that it’s tighter to the face. Makes me feel more secure. Soft fabric, easy to clean. And I love the sugar skull design and colors used. I’d definitely buy again if needed.

I use this for dog grooming and when I grind dog nails it works well for keeping me from breathing in the dust but a little does get in. It works better for keeping me from breathing in hair.
