I bought these bags since they were the only bags I could find that would fit my current vest. These bags are annoying. I found much better quality bags for similar prices. They are made from cheap fabric. They collapse in on themselves constantly, even after days of paper towels stuffed in them they still would not hold their shape well enough to leave the side patches visible. The top of the bags have only a little square of velcro to attach patches to. They are also not very secure on the sides. I could see using this for hiking if you needed a place for your phone, a fabric collapsable bowl, and a small bag of treats while your dog is not at a heel position. The bags are not big enough for water bottles. I also hated how they rubbed up against my leg when my service dog was working. Having my service dog by my side at a heel all day gets very frustrating when the bag is constantly hitting my leg or bumping into things on the other side of my dog because of how wide they are. I will not be purchasing these again. I would recommend going with a different company/brand for service dog gear if you have a legitimate service dog. I bought a different vest with better pouches for less than I spent on the vest pictured below AND these saddle bags. All the pictures were taken right after I got the pouches and initially put them on the vest. They were stuffed with paper towels to help them hold their shape a little better but unfortunately "training" them did not work so I ended up taking them off and not using them after a couple weeks. I really wanted to give them time and it just wasn't working for me and my service dog.My service dog is a 70 pound German Shepherd Husky mix. She goes with me everywhere so we utilize our gear on a daily basis.

GREAT. SMALLER THAN DOGGIE STYLZ BAGS.
Great backpacks for the industrial puppy harness.I also purchased the Doggie Stylz backpacks for the industrial puppy harness. The differences / advantages / disadvantages:The industrial puppy backpacks are smaller - this is great sometimes since my service dog is a great pyrenees and this makes it not quite such a "wide load" to go thru doorways. I choose the backpacks according to what I need to carry. Also - I use the Doggie Stylz for "weights" to do walks and tire her out more when needed. The Doggie Stylz will hold two canned vegetable cans plus in each bag. The Industrial puppy will not hold so much. The tops of the bags from either company allow you to apply two more velcro patches to your "harness" - which has limited space for patches.Great product. Can't picture them ever wearing out.

Perfect for my golden retriever's service dog vest!
I have had my service dog for three years and he goes everywhere with me. When I found out that I needed to start carrying my Epi pens and emergency medication with me, I thought that instead of buying a new harness, I would buy these saddle bags. They are really lightweight, but still durable. I removed the service dog velcro sign off of the side, attached the bag, and hooked the strap through the preexisting loop. This worked out perfectly and took a whole 30 seconds to attach. I only have one saddle bag on because there's so much room! My bag has my epi pins, inhaler, and medicine in it. In the smaller zippered pouch, I have my medical card. I think adding the other pouch would be nice for waste bags, treats, and a collapsible dog bowl. These saddlebags worked perfectly on my 85 pound dog's vest and I do love this product! This way, my emergency medicine is with me at all times and I do not have to carry around a bulky bag with me wherever I go.I hope this review has been helpful to you!

Practical and high quality product!
These are great! I do not understand some of the complaints other reviewers left about this product. The material is a good quality canvas type material, and it does not buckle, or cave, in as some have stated. My dog goes almost everywhere with me and I typically put my keys and wallet on one side, and my smartphone and meds on the other side and it holds up just fine. Of course if you put too much weight in something like this, any material would buckle and cave... its not the product... it's the force of gravity. It was hard at first for me and Tasha (My beloved service dog and best friend) to get used to not walking as close to each other because I kept brushing against it with my leg, but we love it and Tasha seems proud to have a "job" to do. Also, I have had to wash it ( did it by hand) and this product held up just fine.

Great Investment!
Strength and durability, these will last a very long time and we trail everyday. These attach extremely well to the sides of the harness; velcro® so they are removable. Also light weight for Lincoln to have on without him having trouble walking or running. Lots of room inside! There is a zipper on the top that opens up to a large wide compartment and this is where I store my Samsung Note 9 phone (without the phone case) and keys. On the same backpack there is a small velcro® pocket where I put Lincoln's "doodle" bags or something small like keys will fit. On the other side, using the other backpack, I carry a kid size water bottle/small treats and a granola bar- you could even put a half a sub sandwich in there. I keep it light for him to carry -anything more needed then I will carry a backpack. I have a Goldendoodle and he is 8 months old and weighs 60lbs. These are a great investment for us and the price is great!

Good
Exactly as advertised. They fit perfect on the service dog vest. They are a little poofy. I keep my service dog on my left when we walk. The left saddle bag was always banging my leg so I took it off and we use the right one only. It depends on how close you walk your service dog to your legs. 5 stars as that’s not the fault or issue of the maker. Would definitely recommend.

Great buy!
Great product!! Bought these for my service dog and they work extremely well! Big enough to carry epipens, meds, a wallet etc.I used these when we traveled and they made life so much easier.I love the fact you can attach more patches to the top of the bag. I personally added ‘do not pet’ patches and found that really helped people see them. Great price for a great product!

Two thumbs up
Perfect for what I needed. They hold their shape however they are not super stiff. The service dog labes are nice quality and the pouches are easily adaptable to most of my gear.

Good product
Only reason for 4 star comfort is simply, bag bangs on MY leg when dog is in heel position when walking and obviously, yes he's used to it but he's more comfortable without it and it shows but nothing more than expected.

Good quality.
I would have liked to see PU reinforced walling inside the pouch’s but it dose the job.
