If you are using your phone and have it your pocket and kneel down the signal will become distorted. The distance you can move from a connected device seems much shorter than today's bt devices. Overall I'm pleased with this piece. It's helped breathe life into an old pair of headphones that would have only seen use on an old ipod or with late night computer use.
