3M 467MP Clear Adhesive Transfer Tape, 3" Width x 5yd Length (1 roll)

I used this to bond aluminum (sheet/foil) to galvanized steel in a high heat application. (About 250F).It's been on for 7 years and still holding very, very well.NOTE: It's difficult to apply. You have to be patient and willing to work with it. When you unroll it and apply it to one side, make sure that side is ultra clean and press like hell! Make sure it's really really bonded. In fact we put many, many strips on, let them set for half and hour and then came and pulled the backing off. That gives the one side time to cure and get a really good bond to the metal. Then you pull off the backing paper and you then apply the other material. So far I have used this for polyethylene to aluminum, aluminum to galvanized steel, foam insulation to PVC/Vinyl, etc. It has always worked for me, but you do have to follow certain procedures and be patient.

I could have bought the wrong thing too, but I could not get the sticky part separated from the paper. This product is of no use to me, so I will be returning it.
