Henry Helps With the Dog

Product came in excellent condition no creases or bends and in a timely manner - I am docking a star because the content of the book is lackluster. I purchased this as a baby shower and was less than pleased at the length and few words in the book as a whole.Overall, cute but would not purchase again at this price

We love the Henry Helps books. In this book, Henry helps with feeding, changing the water, walking, giving treats, and bathing the dog. I would have liked if they included training more, as that's a critical element of dog ownership. As a single mom, I like Henry Helps with washing the car, laundry and making cookies, because the mom is the 2nd character (although in the laundry one you do see the dad kicking back and relaxing, of course). In Henry Helps with dinner it mostly features the dad and in Henry Helps Cleaning His Room it only features the dad. This book features both parents equally. Hopefully this helps other non-traditional families (traditional too!) find a book that will be relatable to their family.

My almost two-year-old son loves to hear the Henry Helps books. My almost six-year-old daughter especially loves to read Henry Helps with The Dog to herself. The series is cute and teaches sweet lessons about how fun it is to help around the house.

This book is very simple for little ones. Exactly what we needed to introduce how to help care for our new puppy.
