Came in great shape. But the stories were not as dark as I expected

Very bad, old times English, difficult to understand

I got the Dover fairy tale coloring book and wanted this to accompany it for a hands on story time for active children. It doesn’t match up completely but covers enough that I am satisfied. It’s a thrift edition and good for its price, a book I don’t mind getting a little banged up from use. There are no illustrations so if you want pictures I recommend getting a more expensive hardcover version.

I listened to these fairy tales as a kid. I have never forgotten them and realized growing up the careful messages the stories tried to transmit….
