WALKER BOOKS The Christmas Eve Tree

Found this book as a suggestion on Amazon while browsing for Christmas books. I absolutely love the story. It has a very heart warming plot and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful. Old fashioned yet unique.It is definitely a book to keep and after reading to the children, it will.wait for grandchildren to enjoy.

This was a special gift for my 7 and 5 year old children on Christmas Eve. It is such a lovely tail about the tree, I don't want to spoil it so won't say too much. We did wonder what happened to the little boy though - we looked at the illustrations to see if we could find any answers in the last pages but had no luck. We can only assume he grew up to be as lucky as the tree. Would recommend to anyone. Read it still, way past Christmas has gone.

Bought this for my 4 year olds Christmas Eve box. He enjoyed us reading the story and looking at the pictures. The illustrations are truly beautiful. It prompted lots (and lots!) Of questions which was great as we had a chat about homelessness and how some children are not as lucky etc. When Christmas has become so commercialised it's nice the find a book which helps prompt consideration of homeless and wider issues. Upshot is my son wants to donate his old toys to children less fortunate and I am so happy it has made him consider others!! Buy the book you won't be disappointed!

What a story! I'll be honest , when I showed my children our new book they told me "this might be for adults mummy) but I soon started reading and they were engrossed about the little boy and the Christmas tree. Such a lovely warming christmassy story. My kids were _ and 6 when I purchased. Very quick delivery

Roll on middle December so these can be read, don’t think my daughter in law would be impressed if I turned up with these.
