My much esteemed and super-significant other half has many talent, just not in the kitchen. Therefore I do most of the cooking. However I have limited time between writing Amazon reviews so I tend to make a larger quantities during the weekend that she can then heat up on two evenings during the week - this gets us coved for 4 diners per week. However for this you need good storage options to keep you meals fresh. We have a range of sealable boxes and bags but decided to step up and buy one of these very expensive silicone Stasher bags, even though I was quite sceptical about its merits. However I must say I’m quite pleased with them, they are easy to clean, seal well. It seals and given that it has a solid rubbery shape it doesn’t take up a large rectangular space in our structurally over-full fridge. We were also looking for better food storage options, for example because we tend to keep a bag of spinach leaves permanently in the fridge as an hidden ingredient for our frequent red berry smoothies - the problem we found is that spinach leaves tend to go off and start to smell on the sides of the bag soon after opening. Well, this silicone bag somehow prevents that and now we are able to keep and use the spinach leaves well beyond the expiry date. The Stasher bag is also great for left over storage. The only drawback I would point to is that when you decide to store vegetables or fruit in it and get rid of the original packaging, you will lose the expiry date and I am not sure I should write on the expensive bag with wipeable marker. So overall we are very pleased, and are now investing to build out or range of Stasher bags.

Great and versatile silicone bag. Perfect for storing food in the fridge, easy to clean and open/close securely. I also use mine when travelling to carry cosmetics or small objects. It’s rather expensive to buy but with proper care it will last a long time and eliminate usage of disposable plastic bags.

I've had two Stasher Stand Up Mini bags for over a year now. Used mostly for storing grated cheese in the fridge. I've found the cheese stays fresher for longer than it did using regular sandwich bags. Being able to reuse them means less waste than sandwich bags as well! Have put them through the dishwasher a number of times without issues. They have shown no signs of degrading in quality yet so I'm happy with their longevity as well.

I have been using these and other stasher bags for a few months and they are well worth the extra cost. I use them to store and freeze and are better than any other bags I’ve had before.

Great if trying to avoid plastics around baby

It stands up on its own which is great for traveling and not taking up a lot of space on a surface. So cute, wish I could afford several.

I purchased these reusable cooking bags specifically for sous vide cooking of meat and fish. Initially, I was enthusiastic about them and used them frequently. However, over time, I encountered some significant issues that ultimately led to disappointment. The main problem I experienced was that the bags absorbed the flavours of strong cooking sauces and the taste of dishwasher tablets. This flavour retention severely impacted the quality of the food I was preparing. In an attempt to resolve this issue, I tried rinsing the bags with Milton sterilising solution. While this offered some improvement, it was unfortunately limited in its effectiveness. Eventually, the persistent taste transfer became so problematic that I found myself avoiding sous vide cooking altogether. The off-flavours imparted to the food from these bags were simply unpalatable. While the concept of reusable sous vide bags is appealing, in practice, these particular bags fell short of my expectations. They didn't perform as intended for my specific use case, which was disappointing given my initial excitement. In conclusion, while these bags may work well for some users or other applications, they unfortunately did not meet my needs for sous vide cooking due to their tendency to retain and transfer flavours.

Easy to use and clean and keeps food nice and fresh!

Buenísimas las bolsas y sobre todo muy prácticas y que o contaminamos el ambiente. Lo más sobresaliente es que puedes ponerlas en el microondas, horno convencional y lavadora de trastes!!!

Diese Silikonbeutel halten auch Flüssigkeiten fest verschlossen. Kein Auslaufen bei korrektem Verschluss. Gute Handhabung bei der Reinigung, kann auch in die Spülmaschine.

Gut verarbeitet, lässt sich prima schließen und öffnen, hält die Spülmaschinenwäsche locker aus, ist nachhaltig durch lange Haltbarkeit.

Ich liebe meine Stasher-Beutel! Der Verschluss hält absolut dicht und zur Reinigung lassen sie sich einfach in die SpüMa schmeißen. Es verformt sich nichts. Finde ich auf Ausflügen persönlich besser, als Brotboxen, denn leer nehmen sie nur minimal Platz weg, wohingegen die Brotboxen ob voll oder leer denselben Platz einnehmen
