Good Update for Old Heater
I installed this to replace an old GE in-wall unit that was original to my 1970's condo. I picked this one because it had the same basic rough-out dimensions so I wouldn't have to do any drywall repair/replacement. The biggest challenge is that this unit must be wired at the bottom and the old unit was wired at the top. The wiring from my wall was too short to reach the bottom, so I had to install a new junction box to extend the wiring. That was an big pain in the ***, but no fault of the manufacturer of this unit. Once I finally got it installed, it worked great! A little bit on the loud side when it's running, but nothing you can't just tune out as white noise.

Excellent Heater
This heater installed easily and works great! I’m very happy with the price, installation, and it’s operation.

Jigsaw puzzle / missing parts
It's a darn good thing I know how these work and can piece them together. I supposedly purchaseda "new" unit but not too sure about that. When it arrived I opened the box to check it out before scheduling with the client for install, good thing I did. The motor assembly was not mounted to the frame, just laying in the housing, the wiring to the coils was not connected and just laying against the metal housing and it was missing the control knob to boot. So I had to disassemble the unit completely, used new nuts and secured the motor to the frame, tightened the "stak-on" connectors for the coil and reattached. screwed everything back together, went out and had to purchased a replacement knob out of my pocket. Once I had it installed it did work well that is why I gave 2 stars but for me having to spend an hour fixing a new product and purchasing missing pieces to complete a "new" unit is kind of ridiculous. If it wasn't for me giving my word to my client that it would be installed and working that day I would have just sent the pile of parts back.

Installation.
The product is great. I had one before this one, lasted about 12 years. Bought new one to replace it. Installed it on 1-23-19, it went belly up on 2-3-2019. Warning light went on. Shut off the power. Inspected all wire connections, they seem to be fine; however, warning light will still turn on when I try to turn on the heater. Reset apparently does not work. Bummer. I gave it a one star overall rating because of the short time it took to go belly up. Any suggestions?
