Wednesday's Castle is definitely intriguing!!!
I thought Tuesday's in the Castle was an amazing book, and this one is just as enchanting! Not only is the Castle growing at a rapid rate, but there's a wizard no one really trusts trying to remove all evidence of griffins, but why? Why is the Castle bringing in rooms that are old and dusty? What happened to the griffins? Why did the castle bring a griffin for Celie to raise? There are so many mysteries to be solved in this book, and the ending left me on the edge of my seat. I had to buy the next book in the series to find out how the Glower children and their friends escape from another world that was once the home world of their beloved castle. I don't want to give away to much of the story, but i couldn't put the book down. It was interesting to see how the clues fell together and to learn about the early history of the Castle and it's rulers. The author has an amazing skill as a story teller and writer. I really enjoy her books, and this series has become one of my favorites. When I've read this series I'm going to start on another one of her books. I guarantee you will enjoy this enchanted and intriguing book!

The Second Castle Glower Book - Wednesdays in the Tower
This is the second book in the Castle Glower series by Jessica Day George. The book is continues on with adventures of the Glower children in their magic castle. In this book the youngest Glower child finds something special in one of the castle towers and tries to keep it hidden from everyone else; however, it is hard to hide a baby of this size (I don't want to spoil it for you). The castles changes cause alarm within the Glower family, instead of just adding rooms, things are now noticed that weren't before. This is a fantastic fantasy and I would recommend it to young and old alike. Now on to the third book (Thursdays in the with the Crown).

Great story, nice audible edition
I use this book series for helping an older autistic girl with reading comprehension. We really enjoy the audible edition, which we listen to while she follows along reading on the Kindle with Word Wise. After reading and listening to it, she requested the paperback as a reward. The story is nicely written, easy to follow, and the characterizations are very sweet. It's great to be able to have books that are enjoyable for me also. So... very happy with the audible, Kindle, and paperback versions of these books!

Great Middle Grade Fantasy
Castle Glower has always been an interesting place to live. It sprouts new rooms occasionally and takes away rooms too. Young Princess Celie, the youngest of King Glower's four children, has been busy making maps of the castle and trying to keep up with the changes. One day Celie discovers a new passage way that leads to a new tower which has a nest containing a large red egg. Celie is the only one who can get to the new location because the passage goes away unless Celie is there. She is very curious about the egg and takes care of it until it hatches a griffin.Everyone thought griffins were only mythical beasts but now Celie has one to take care of. The castle also wants Celie to keep the griffin, which she names Rufus, a secret. She is able to tell her older brother Bran who is the Royal Wizard and their friend Pogue. Together they begin to search the castle for information about griffins.Bran has asked one of his old teachers to visit because the castle has added a room filled with weapons, some of which are magical. But instead of his old teacher, Wizard Arkwright arrives. The kids don't trust Arkwright because he seems to be too curious about their interest in griffins. This was an exciting middle grade fantasy with a strong, young female lead character in Celie. My only complaint is the cliffhanger ending which makes me want to read the next book right now. Fans of magic will really enjoy this series.

wonderful sequel from a great writer
This sequel to Tuesdays In the Castle extends the storyline into new realms. The main character, Princess Celie, belongs to a family who live in a magical castle. The castle adds rooms and corridors and towers, or vanishes them, on Tuesdays, and our heroine, Celie, has a greater sense of the castle than anyone else, although no one really understands it. In this book, Celie learns much more about the castle, its history, and why the structures appear and disappear. Celie finds an egg in a tower that the castle only allows her to enter, and adventures ensue. The cliffhanger ending promises more excitement to come.

A sweet and fun(ny) read
My niece, who is 9, and I read stories together. I used to be the sole reader and picker of our books but as she's grown we share in these activities. I bought Tuesdays at the Castle simply from reading the story summary and we, yes WE, loved it. We were super excited to hear of this next book and I bought it instantly. It's fun and sweet and humorous and we only read it when we are together. I don't know how this story ends yet, but I certainly hope it involves other days at the castle to read about!

Mystical (review written by Memphis J.)
This book is truly amazing and the writer (Jessica Day George) got you thinking about what will happen to this certain character.I gave this rating because this book got me going like my own mind was telling me to keep on reading until I'm done. When I read a good book I get attached to it and I won't put it down. My friend's,family, and teachers would have to snap at me a couple times. My last teacher saw the bound I had for books that I won't put down. This is how good this book is.
