I bought these to store dry food that is packaged in Mylar bags that could be susceptible to animals chewing or clawing through the bags. I know that most people use 5 gallon buckets but I like these better because they fit on the pantry shelves better. They do not latch securely but do have small preformed holes around the lid so I can attach the lid with small zip ties for a longer storage time. The lid has a decent lip on it so it should stay in place with that precaution. It obviously won't be airtight but since the items inside are sealed in Mylar with O2 absorbers in them, I only needed to protect the Mylar from damage so it works for me.

Have used them for several years

I initially used them to transfer my fish, plants and some water from my aquarium to my new place. That worked perfectly. Afterwards, I found a lot of uses for them throughout my house. They are the perfect size! Seem to be sturdy too.

These have come in very handy as I've been cleaning out my garage and trying to get it organized. They are nicely size, stack perfectly but my only issue is that the lids are kind of poorly made. Sometimes the 'cut-out' holes in the lids are actually cut out, sometimes partially cut-out and other times not at all. Also the lids are really thin and go so deeply into the bottom of the container that it takes away too much of what should be useable space.

I'm a fan of this type of box, and when I saw the 5 gallon size, I bought 4 of them. 3 of them fit perfectly under the back seat of my '17 Honda Ridgeline for easy access storage

Super super super small. Smelled horrible and as I was pulling it out of the box, The side was already cracked! Definitely don’t recommend you to buy these horrible things

I bought these to use for a small indoor hydroponic garden. The size is great for my needs but the material is not that great. The lids crack easily on this size. They also do not lock down onto the container. If using for storage beware that the inside is pretty small especially with the handles protruding into the box.

I absolutely love these and it’s disappointing that they are no longer sold in my area. At least I can still purchase them online. They are sturdy, stackable, and can help keep you organized.
