It does work, and one year later still no accidents
As a scientist I am always looking for new and novel ways to study explosive events, so when presented with the opportunity to do this at the same time as reducing my guilt and using single use coffee pods I jumped at the opportunity. The pod comes in a little box with a scoop and a brush, there may or may not be instructions, if there were then clearly I wouldn't ready them anyway.I use about two scoops of coffee in the pod, checking that no grounds are on the rim and possibly interfering with the seal. I place the pod in the machine and, as I would do with a disposable pod, make sure that it is seated correctly before closing the lid. I press the button, coffee comes out as it should, there are no explosions or bursts. I've been making two coffees a day for a few weeks now, rinsing the pod with cold water after emptying most of the grounds into the bin. It all works fine. My coffee is now cheaper, nicer and I can use the machine (it was a present) with considerably less environmental guilt. I'd knock a star off for the exorbitant price, however it's a case of supply and demand and if no-one else makes these then the price will stay high, it's capitalism at work.Update 16th December. 2 months later, still drinking too much coffee, still no explosions or leakages and no single use plastic in the bin.Update 9th October, almost one year later. I've been using this on average 3 times a day, maybe I drink too much coffee. No explosions, no spillages, no mess and no plastic pods going in the bin. Having been tempted to open the machine before it depressurises I speculate that people have been achieving the explosive affect by opening the machine too early after use, whilst the pod is under steam pressure, there seems to be no other way to physically get this to explode. So my tip would be to always wait till the light stops flashing before opening the machine, like you are supposed to.

Reusable tassimo pod
First try was not a sucsess, , tried again and it worked , good product. It is value for money , easy to clean and a good implement to have.It tastes the same as the original pods do

Saves money and waste
Item works as intended. No problems with filling it up and putting it into my Tassimo machine. Cleaning was a breeze and done in less than 10 secs. It won't produce a crema, it is more of a flat white. I don't mind. Flavour of coffee is rich and will def wake you up. (I grinded some coffee beans, works very well.) Finally something that will A) save money. I will get the Solimo ground coffee (£10, I think, for 4 packs a 1kg or other sub and save ground coffee. You need around 2-3 little spoonfuls to fill the 180ml filter pod. Just imagine how much you save!) B) Less waste. Not only with the pods but the overall packaging of said pods. And 20 quid for something that has such a huge impact on saving money and reducing waste is money well spend. I will get the 60 ml soon too (Espresso, even better punch in the morning).Recommended.

This only gives you a very small espresso
It is easy to use and obviously you can use what ever ground coffee tou wish but unfortunately it only gives a very small drink so u was disappointed. As a direct comparison it gives approx half the amount of coffee that a tassimo cappuccino would give. You can repeat the whole procedure of course and make another but that just seems rediculous

At last, proper coffee!
I like a mug of coffee, so I had to experiment to get the right combination. I tried using the 180ml twice but that overflowed. I then got the 60ml and that gave just over half a mug when used with the 180ml, but if I then run the 60ml through again just by lifting the lid on the Tassimo and closing it again, then pressing the button, I get exactly the right amount to leave room for some milk. As a personal preference I then give it 30 seconds in the microwave to get it to my prefered temperature. Makes an excellent mug of coffee. I've seen comments that the capsules can leak but my own experience is that as long as you don't ovefill them, they work fine. I find they are easy to clean and a single shake over the bin gets most of the grounds out of the capsule, then a run under the tap does the rest.

Glad I bought it!
I make my coffees with it every morning and its perfect! Works so well I am considering buying another one that fills a cut to 200ml or more.

It don’t impress me much !
Well what a waste of money, I will have to send it back it’s virtual rubbish . I have 3 Tassimo machines in different locations and I’m a huge fan of them. However I do feel the price of the pods is a little on the high side, even sending for them in bulk, they have recently had a 20% price hike like many things these days. This reusable pod seemed a brilliant idea and it would be if it worked better, I used it once and the result was an espresso sized Americano , the taste wasn’t too bad although I did use my very favourite expensive filter coffee so too bad wasn’t too good either. in hindsight I maybe should have bought the larger size but I thought that was intended for hot chocolate. I notice other people say they work well , so that’s good then, but not for me I’m going to bite the bullet and continue paying the higher price for the genuine pods which for me give a decent size flavoursome cup of coffee with no faffing about ..

Lasts for about a year and a half
I bought mine about a year and a half ago and I have been using it almost every day since then. It works perfectly and my Tassimo makes the coffee with no problem using it.About a month ago, the capsule started failing. Every time I try to use it now, the capsule "explodes" and it makes a mess.I would have to buy a new one now, but I would say that a year and a half of not having to buy the official ones is worth it.It would be better if it lasted longer, though.
