Just sleeve a pipe over the butt end of the handle to have a more comfortable grip and weld it in place.

It works well, makes the short stretches much easier, but there's still some room for improvement. It doesn't locks in place as well as other brands, but it still does it's job.

Hey I rented on of these years ago thinking I wouldn’t like it, but I did. Much better than the kind you need a truck or a come a long to stretch the chain link fence with. When I needed to rent one again the place I rented it from last time changed owners and didn’t have one. So I looked on line and bought it myself. I have more chain link in the future to install and now I won’t have to call around or run all over town to rent it. The rental cost was more than the purchase price for half a day. So it was well worth me waiting a weekend to have it delivered.

You can use a come along stretcher but this is so much easier if your only reconnecting an existing chain link fence. Well worth the money if you do it a lot.

The hook for the tension bar needs to be longer. Slips out on tight pulls if you’re not careful.also the nut came off. I replaced with a lock nut and haven’t had any issues.

This tool is so great. I used larger channel locs before. This is a game changer.

This thing does an excellent job stretching short runs. I used this to stretch chain link on 7’ panels. I would guess you could use this for quite a bit longer runs if needed. Good purchase.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Ordered for professional fence company and it is what we were looking for. Works without any issue and so far has been a quality tool.
