Drawing People for the Absolute Beginner

All of the "Absolute Beginner" books are excellent and this one is no exception. It has some excellent visual examples that are helping me tremendously. Figure drawing is hard, no doubt about it, but I encourage you to keep your practice drawings and sketches and go back through them after a couple of weeks. Even though I didn't "feel" that I was improving, when I looked back through my practice stuff, I was really amazed at my progress.No matter what medium you're working in, find the "Absolute Beginner" book (they're all on Amazon) and it'll save you some money by not necessitating the purchase of a lot of additional books.

Awesome instruction... When learning to draw you must remember that the human brain works off of shapes, and this book describes in detail how to train yourself to draw in pieces rather than in picture.
