These seem like pretty nice light-duty ball heads. They are mostly metal, not overly complicated and adaptable to a wide range of uses. They would probably work well to hold a phone or point-and-shoot camera or an off-camera flash. I don't think they'd hold an SLR camera without slipping, but maybe. I'm planning to adapt them to hold Blink outdoor cameras. I didn't know that two came in a package, so I was pleasantly surprised. So far I'm really happy with these!

I bought this to add some flexibility to the camera arm that I use at my workbench for livestreams. It works wonderfully!The winged bolt that restricts the movement of the joint is simple. It does the job. I would only caution you againt over tightening since the bolt is pressing into a plastic collar to hold the ball joint still.It adds approximately an inch to whatever you're installing it onto, just a heads up.The cutout that allows the ball joint to rotate a full 90 degrees is really nice for when I need to flip the camera around to focus on me momentarily. Can't beat it for the price.

Ok in principle. I haven't found a way to increase friction at the ball. It's floppy. For my particular use, above a monopod and under binos, the slop isn't show-stopping. Still annoying, though.

Tripods typically do not allow for angles in cameras to be placed for a better shot. These universal swivels allow the camera to be tilted and it also allows for better shots they are universal item because almost all tripods have the same 1/4 inch connection as well as the camera. I used one to accommodate my Samsung 360 camera onto a cell phone holder and it worked beautifully as you can see in the picture above. Very cost-effective so I consider it a great value as I did not have to buy a giant tripod to be able to cam from bed. Simple to use and very versatile.

Honestly I didn't need two Universal 1/4" Swivel Mini Ball Head Screw Tripod Mount... not for my purposes. At the price if I were worried about durability on my once in a lifetime trip to the lion lairs of the Zambezi Escarpment I'd order up a dozen at the cheap price for the things. Really. For my purposes, my hand held cam stick thingy that expands into a tripod was just begging for the Universal 1/4" Swivel Mini Ball Head Screw Tripod Mount Twas was EXACTLY what I have been needing as the stick just mentioned doesn't swivel. (Does now hee hee!) I like these things a lot. You will too.

Works as described. We'll constructed for its intended use. Received on schedule as promised . Fair price good quality.

This will be my first review. It's a terrible design and they shouldn't be sold on Amazon as soon as you unscrew a little bit to allow the ball to have some movement the bottom piece completely comes off and is only tied to the single screw in other words the whole mechanism comes apart.
