ESSEyewear ICE NARO Lens

I used these before when in the military just needed to replace the old scuffed up lens and now I use them in my civilian job.

Great item

I had to take a thin nail file and contour the locking tabs a little to get the ear pieces to lock in properly. They absolutely would not fit into the tabs without modification. Other than that, good.

I lost my frame and smoked lenses from my kit. this purchase was convenient. original product. fast shipping. convenient for me because i dont have to purchase an entire kit.

this is my 3 replacement they are great but I put them thru very rough environment.

Needed to replace my scratched lenses I've had for 10 years. Perfect replacement.

Installation on the frame takes quite a bit of pressure, but once you get it there it holds well. I wish the amber were a slightly darker shade than it is. It is really a light yellow, not like a different pair of amber safety glasses I have, but this works. Four stars mainly because I wish it were a bit darker.

This is the second ice naro smoke lens that I bought. The first lens were bought from another seller and they developed some stress cracks (after a year) around the holes that connect to the frames. I believe that these cracks were due to the tightness of the frame over time. On my clear lens this did no happened because I was swapping the frame very often with another lens and the fitting became less thigh after a few times. My advice is that the frame should not be left attached to the lens if the fitting is tight, specially if the lens will not be used for a long time. Once the fitting is looser I think there will be no problem. The reason I give a score of 3 is due to the warranty service that ESS provides which was none. This is clearly a design fault and ESS should stand behind their products but they do not. So if I have the same problem again with these lens I will say goodbye to ESS and buy another brand. Apart from that major drawback, the lens are light, fit well, and if they are clean I usually forget that I am using them.
