Very nice jacket. As noted by other reviewers, the jacket can be considered a little snug for it's size, but I planned for that. I'm a 43 Short and bought the Large. Fits perfect as long as I don't wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath. A little long in the sleeves, but that's typical for by stubby-like arms so no surprises there. Another nice feature are the pockets. Pocket everywhere. Pockets inside of pockets.The jacket appears to be very well made. One reviewer noted the zipper is plastic and has the appearance of those types of zippers that are frail (my words). I agree. While the zipper feels sturdy, time will tell. One small note is that the jacket's shell is a little stiff. However, it's new and I'm confident it will break in nicely, just my opinion.

Received the Condor Summit Zero Soft Shell on April 11 2013 in perfect condition. Packaged very well and arriving earlier than expected. As the description states it is lightweight so make no mistake it is not a winter coat however living in Southern California it's perfect for the environment here. That being said with a little layering underneath this Condor Lightweight Summit I see no reason why it wouldn't suffice in 30 + degree weather. Works well in inclement weather (Damp,Chilly,Drizzly), has plenty of pockets and the material is very soft with a slight elasticity. I haven't had a need for the hood yet however it is available if needed and although being large has a draw cord on the back of the hood to pull it off of the face as required and cords to tighten down if needed but if you're wearing a helmet it can still accommodate your needs, having 7 pockets and a 3 5/8 x 4 3/8; Velcro patch on each shoulder to affix insignia of your liking. I am 5'10"; and about 217-220 the XL fits me just fine and if I tighten up my stomach slightly it will be perfect. All in all this is a very well made jacket and I am more than pleased with my purchase.

Awesome Jacket, Perfect for windy and cold weather, tested down to 35 degrees, for a soft shell jacket, it was just fine in 35 degrees, and was comfortable up to 75 degrees. Around 70 to 75 degrees i was starting to sweat a little in it, but I just use the ventilation zippers to let some of the cool air in and it was all good after that. My opinion is this jacket is a good water resistant/wind breaker/ semi cold/cool weather jacket. Great for weather from 40-70 degrees, ideal for wet/drizzle conditions. LOTS of pockets to put your everyday carry items. The wife is jealous of all the pockets it has.I am 6'2 tall, 280lbs, and the 3XL fits me perfectly.

I received my jacket from Amazon two days ago and noted it is well constructed with very good material. While I'm not a fan of the high front pockets, they are usable, but not what I prefer. The pockets height is almost midway between your waist and your clavicle but still usable. I also liked the back pocket. The underarm vent zippers are okay if you like that sort of thing.The only problem I ran into was the XXL size can't possibly the XXL we use in America. I wear XL sizes but prefer my jackets to be one size bigger so I can wear professional gear underneath without printing and giving away what I do. I purchased an XXL size which is the same as my other XXL jackets that all fit. The Condor Jacket I got said it was an XXL, but I can tell you they either made a mistake, or China made jacket sizes are totally different from American sizes. This Jacket seemed more like a large than anything and wouldn't even zip up let alone conceal anything, so I'll either try the XXXL or pick a different jacket if anyone has a decent suggestion.I would have given a 5 even though I'm not a big fan of the front pockets because it is of high quality, seems durable and is sharp looking. I took away one star because they marked the one I received XXL and there is no way that's an American XXL. Oh yea, my co-worker fit into the jacket and also believed the size was a Large until he saw it said XXL.

As a Ski Patroller, I needed a new shell that would allow me to wear a variety of layers underneath as dictated by conditions and this doesn’t disappoint.It has absolutely no insulation so don’t think of this as a single jacket for cold weather. It’s a shell and it does that job remarkably well for the price point. It sheds moisture, the fit and range of motion while wearing it is excellent, the packets are of good size and well placed and the Velcro is handy for attaching patches, etc. I found the hood to be just slightly undersized for my ski helmet but it didn’t bother me.I wear a vest over this shell which contains all my medical gear and it didn’t have any affect on this shell at all. No chaffing, no change in water repellency and no discomfort.I will definitely buy this shell again and would highly recommend.
