resonator replacement
Replaced front resonator with a 2 1/2 " pipe and rear resonator with the Flomaster HP-2 , still running thru stock rear muffler . Has a little bit of sound at idle & has a bit of a "roar " at full throttle with no noticeable drone in car . I didn't want anything too loud . ( I'm 66 yrs. old ) The stock system was just too quiet . My vehicle is a 2016 Ford Escape SE 1.6 turbo , 40 yrs ago I was driving a new 1976 Trans Am 455 4spd . ( 7 litre to 1.6 litre - WOW how times have changed ! )

Not what I had hoped
My 5.0L ISF was pretty loud on cold starts after I deleted the factory mufflers. I was hoping these would help... alas. They don't seem to have had any noticeable impact. See screenshots. Peak loudness is the same. I did not capture the original line graph unfortunately and the average is not necessarily representative as it includes time taken to get into and out of the car.The midrange revs seem a little more mellow but I don't have data and that could be the placebo effect in full force. Kinda bummed.It does seem to be quite well made.

Awesome product
It was as described. Original box damaged but muffler was as new for half the price!

Great muffler but bad luck
Sounded great. Unfortunately, I bought a clamp that was faulty and the muffler fell off on day one. But I would like to get another one.

Great buy
You've never heard this before but alas it's true, "good things come in small packages". The sound is perfect for a V6, has an Import sound, burble, and few pops once it's warm. Nothing too aggressive, and not excessively loud. It's noticeably louder on cold starts, but idle isn't much louder than stock.

Quality product just not as aggressive as I would have expected.
Granted I installed it on my 06 wrangler with a 4.0 but I expected it to be a little more aggressive. Quality made like all flowmaster products install is as easy as you would expect if you know how to weld.

Great quality and appearanceI've put it between the Flowmaster's resonator and Delta 50 muffler in Force II system for my Ford Focus mk3It gave just what I needed - a bit more gentle and deep tone that avoids internal droneAnd due to lack of free space - small footprint is the point5* definitely

Disappointed it was not the correct muffler.
Shipped on time. Shipping box in great shape, flowmaster box was ripped open on one end. Muffler has chipped finish in some spots.Important note!!!This muffler part number is not as described. This is the "shortie" muffler! The actual dimensions are 12x5x4 not the 25x5x4 as described!

Sounds better overtime
The media could not be loaded. The sound really changes over time and i really like the sound but i paired it with a 3" double tip of course it makes the sound deeper but it also got it way louder which with 3" tips on a mazda 6 2010 it definitely drones inside not a lot so you get used to it but if people go in the back seats they will suffer for sure

Sounds very good
Really nice sound! Nice low mellow rumble in my subaru.I run a unequal header and high flow cat with resonator and this hp2 muffler.
