1 cup cafetiere 350ml

After breaking yet another glass cafetiere, I decided to try this metal one, and I'm pleased that I did. This one is suitable for making a single mug of coffee. The pot and top are fairly well insulated so the coffee remains hot for about 10 minutes. The filter unscrews into three separate components for easy cleaning, and some spare mesh filters are included in the box, in the unlikely event that you damage one. Another nice touch is the arrow head on the lid which you line up with the spout when pouring. The whole thing is bright and attractive to look at. It's also unbreakable!

This is not only a beautiful looking cafetière, it's also very practical. I love fresh coffee in the mornings and this is the perfect size for a single mug. Being stainless steel it's not going to shatter if the cat knocks it off the worktop (blaming the cat instead of my clumsiness!) and being double-walled I'm hoping it will keep warm if I'm delayed in pouring it – though be aware that this is not advertised as a vacuum/insulated flask so don't expect it to act as one. It certainly means that the walls aren't hot to handle after pouring in the hot water from the kettle, a bonus that I won't burn myself touching it.It makes nice coffee and once depressed the filter holds the grounds in place so they don't end up in the cup. It pours easily and, as you can see in my video, has a non-drip spout. I definitely prefer this one to my traditional glass cafetière, both ease of use and good looks!It's very simple to clean, just empty the grinds, rinse out the loose bits and pop it in the dishwasher. It also comes with spare filter screens, adding to its longevity.Coffee grounds can be disposed of in food recycling or composting, and are great as soil drainage, especially when used in soil for plant pots. They also make a good abrasive scourer for cleaning :)

Okay so, there was a slight black discolouring on the bottom of the handle. Apart from that. Very solid. Nice vacuum design does keep the water warm. Useful extra metal filters included, if you ever need to change them. It does the job. The obvious thing to point out is you cannot see through it, so if you like to view the filter and see if the coffee is filtering at the bottom etc you will not be able to (unless you are super/wo/man and can see through metal)! I also sussed recently that if you are finding it hard to push down, it is possibly because you have filled it too high. It seems the lower the level the smoother it pushes down easily. Overall, I like this solid (hopefully long lasting) cafetiere. It looks good which is one of the main things, as well as doing its job well. Enjoy!

Ordered the 1.5 litre size as was tired of having to make extra pots for guests. You still only get six decent-sized cups out of it but that’s the case for all cafetières this size. Have used this only once so far but the coffee seems to stay hot while the outside of the cafetière is cool enough to touch. Easy to clean too. You do have to give it a bit of a polish to get rid of water marks, which is the only reason I haven’t given it five stars.

A very efficient cafetière, it keeps coffee hot for a long time. It may cost more than a glass cafetière, but I feel it is worth the money in the long run. It is easy to pour and clean. A very good buy.

Looks really lovely. Stainless steel insulated to keep coffee really hot. Only downside is that you obviously can’t see the level without taking out the press, but this is more than compensated for by the fact of its being practically unbreakable, unlike the glass ones which we have had to replace countless times over the years. We’ll gradually replace those we have with this.

Wonderful one cup cafetiere.

The base part is nice. But the plunging mechanism feels a bit cheap and is not solid like some others I’ve used in the past. The bottom plate screws in and is slightly cockeyed so it doesn’t quite sit level. It worked fine for the first batch, but with it not being flat, I’m a bit concerned on the longevity.

The lid dose not fit snug and it leaked water or something inside the vacuum seal, not worth the price

Très bonne conception, design élégant, filtre bien , pas de marc à café dans la tasse.

Habituée aux dosettes nespresso depuis plusieurs années, j'ai voulu essayer le café avec presse à piston et je n'ai pas regretté.Cette presse est de très bonne qualité, pratique et facile à laver . Le café garde toute sa saveur. Je ne m'en passe plus.

Fantastica, il gusto del mio caffè è molto migliorato, anche comoda da pulire... la metto in lavastoviglie😉
