If you want a 24AWG cat 6a cable : go away. This is fraud ! The description says 24AWG, the sticker on the plastic bag says 24AWG BUT the print on the cable is 26AWG. I need it now so I cannot send this cable back to amazon US (I am from Belgium). I pay high price, high shipping cost to be sure to get this 24AWG cable and this is complete fraud! DO NOT TRUST MONOPRICE CABLE ! I join a picture showing the sticker on the bag and the print on the cable (blue is darker in reallity but change contrast to help reading)

I have purchased many different brands and versions of round ethernet cables recently trying to find the best quality made, best shielding, and durable cable possible and monoprice is one of the best I have found. Some of the other brands were terrible and there are a few decent ones as well. I even bought a couple monoprice entegrade cat8 cables specifically for the shielding and 24awg wires which brings me to my only issue with monoprice. The cat8 cables are great but pricey and a little unwieldy, these things are fat! I normally wouldn't complain about quality but they are stiff to the point that my sb8200 cable modem wants to keep tipping over.I have looked everywhere for a cat6a shielded ethernet cable with 24awg wires to no avail. Actually the only manuafacturer that has them is Monoprice and they would be perfect cause they appear to be a little thinner than the cat8 cables, however.The problem is Monoprice only makes them in blue and in 10 packs! What? This is ridiculous, come on monoprice please make these cables available in at least black and single cables would be nice as well. I contacted them and asked when they would be available but I got nowhere. Apparently monoprice doesn't plan on producing the shielded 24awg cat6a cables which is very unfortunate cause they would be the perfect cables for my needs and I would replace all of my ethernet cables with them!If you are looking for a quality shielded ethernet cat6a ethernet cable or cables you cannot go wrong with the 26awg, I highly recommend them over the other brands but would still like the option of having 24awg.

Hmmm so as other reviews state the sheathing on this cables displays 26 AWG size cable. The description surely does state the cable is 24AWG cable so the description is misleading. I did test the cable and tested fine. The cable also gives consistent Network speeds and no interference from electrical cables. I had to route my new cable through the attic where there would definitely be EMI from other cables. No issues consistent speeds and dropped no packets as before with the unshielded twisted pair Cat 5e that was replaced! I would buy from this product again however they do need to change the size of the cabling in the description it is misleading...

I usually like Monoprice for the convenience, reliability, and great pricing. But in this case I was shopping for STP Ethernet wire - description CLEARLY says "STP", but I received UTP instead. Very unhappy.

Got this patch cable in hopes of high or at least good quality but it was neither. I connected this cable from my cable modem to my ASUS AC1900 router and was only able to achieve 100mbps not the 1000mbps that should easily be achieved with a CAT6a cable. I don’t know if it’s the connectors or if it is the whole cable itself but none the less it is advertised as a CAT6a patch cable so it should perform as such. I was very disappointed but luckily I tested it first before even installing it where I wanted to. I will try and salvage it by cutting of the connectors and crimping my own, I hope that this will resolve the issue. I don’t even want to bother sending it back since it was not expensive; I guess I got what I paid for. Lesson learned.

Not much to say, cables worked as intended, I felt they were constructed well - but note the minimum bend radius of CAT6+ and if shielded, I recommend adding a little more. Worked until I tried stuffing 2 of these into a 2.25" deep cable management bar vertically (i.e. stuffed on top of each other, into the bars own hole directly below and behind, and putting cover on). I don't recommend that :) ...My fault since I should know better, awaiting another one :)

Got for new upgraded netgear router. I have peace of mind :) I was using a TP router that only had a 2.4g band that the Spectrum salesman let me use til I got one. I wired my desktop to it with, I think, an old cart cable. Desktop was getting 94mb down, my internet plan is 200mb down, and kids Xbox in next room was getting half that on wireless(about 40mb) Got me a 4 band Nighthawk(R7800) and 2 of these cables....Now desktop gets 226mb down, and Xbox gets 1ghz wireless on 5g band thru 1 wall. Big screen TV runs Roku ultra flawlessly...and also run 4 phones, 2 tablet's, and 2 outside Ring security cameras... Flawlessly! I may have not needed the 2 cat 6A cables, but now I have peace of mind ;)

Another great cable from Monoprice. I am impressed with what they sell. I bought this cable to complement and extract as much as possible bandwidth from my new Comcast 1GBPS internet plan. I paired it with a new SB8200 and Linksys EA9500. Always upgrade the cable when buying new equipment. This cable does not disappoint!

I Moved my room to oposite size of house and needed internet asap, anything but wifi for online gaming. Ordered this while I waited for Provider to change modem location, never bothered to get them after. This worked perfect exact same speeds and ping as when I was using a 5 foot cable in my 50 lol.

I removed one star because I bought the 100ft 24AWG cable but received 100ft 26AWG cable. I specifically bought the Monoprice cable because it said 24AWG when a lot of their competitors were listing 26AWG cable. Cable quality seems very nice, ran it through the walls in my house right next to electrical cable and zero issues, very nice speed.

Using this with an iMac Pro and a Quanta LB4M and SFP+ to RJ45 transceiver and getting full 10Gb speeds.

We could not get Netflix by a wireless connection but the CAT6 cable works beautifully.
