I have the 15# SPRI dumbells and wanted to increase them to 20#. I really like the thicker hand grips (covered in vinyl) which are much more comfortable than the ones with thinner metal grips.Excellent quality and design. I bought these "used" on Amazon (they appeared new - how do you wear out a dumbell?), so I saved almost 50%.A great value and a great product.

I ordered these to add to my "collection" of random sets of dumbbells. I ordered the pair of 12 lb dumbbells and they arrived in a very efficiently packed and padded box. I was pleased with how well they were packed, especially since I had that concern due to the couple of reviewers who had issues with their weights arriving in a damaged box, or in some way damaged. My weights were perfectly packaged and undamaged. I also saw some comments regarding the smell of the weights. They don't smell, nor do they have any funky odors of any kind. Just a very slight "normal" smell if you put your nose right up against it of a light vinyl tinge. As far as how accurate they weigh: first picture shows that together they weigh exactly 24 lbs according to my relatively new digital scale. I also weighed them individually and they weighed exactly 12 lbs each. The size of the head at the ends is just a tad larger than some may expect, as you can see in the second pictured where I put one between an 8 lb and a 15 lb weight. The reason for the head possibly seeming a bit larger than "some" my expect is because they are not as long as some others. You have to get the full 12 lbs in there somehow along with the vinyl covee, either through larger head or longer axis. So it's strictly a personal, subjective, choice as to whether you want it half an inch longer with a smaller head, or vice versa. These are very well built overall. The plastic coating is nice and thick and I feel very confident they are going to last a very long time if you take care of them and don't bang them against sharp objects. I highly recommend.

These are very nice dumbbells, and I have accumulated from 4 to 15 pounds as they became available during the covid season. Well... almost. I ordered the 12lbs months ago and then was notified that there was a delay. A couple of weeks ago I was notified that they were now able to fill that order. At that time, I noticed that the 15lb were available, so I ordered them. I got two deliveries... of 15lb dumbbells. And once again the 12lb are not available at a reasonable price. So, I missed that brief window of availability.The handle on the 15lb dumbbells is pretty big, at 5.5inches (14cm) circumference. If you are thinking of the 18 or 20, then you probably want to get a handle measurement beforehand to better decide between this type versus the kind with a handle size that does not increase as the weight goes up.

I tore a rotator cuff, and was told by my physical therapist to buy one pound weights. I saw these adorable pink weights at my therapist’s gym and I had to get them!! Great price and arrived quickly! Highly recommended seller. I actually ordered another pair so I can keep them in another place in the house!!! I love working out with them!!!
